I have no sympathy for millennials who were ungrateful towards their parents, who raised them during a global financial crisis, during the 90's and did a better job than the millennials are now doing with their kids. What goes around, comes around. Maybe they'll start being thankful for all the things their parents provided them with because they definitely can't provide the same for their kids now. Most millennials in Australia grew up in detached houses but most millennials are living in units, with their kids now. There's a need in this country for young ppl to start being grateful.

My understanding is nearly 30% of the current Australian population is foreign born (I have only read this so I accept the figure may be wrong to something less but still remaining large) My question is what did our military fight for in WW1 and WW2, just what. I am 90, born in Sydney, personally am feeling sick about all of this multiculturalism. DIE = DIE (?). Assimilation in this area to me has always been the go and available and would have added to our heritage and not destroy it.

Happy to be optimistic about the future, there's supposed to be an election this year yes? As far as tossing the 5c - no thanks, we got rid of the 1c and 2c and prices were suddenly being rounded up or down 5c if using cash, if we toss the 5c will we be faced with 10c round-ups? But if you use card everything is fine, no rounding done 'just' a card surcharge.

I want to be Prime Minister! I would put in place policies that would have this country the richest country on earth within 5 years. A brief example of my policies would include; completely deleting all green agendas and getting coal, uranium and gas back into feeding cheap power into homes and industry. I would make manufacturing an absolute priority, as well as small and large business. I would go for the jugular of education and academia in this country and remove all the BS. I would remove all taxes from gold manufacturing... BUT... would have each gold mining company hand over 10% of all gold mined to the Government for storage in order to maintain the value of the AUD and for the long term benefit of all citizens. I would also make The Commonwealth bank of Australia the peoples bank, returning it to government regulation. The idea of a AusPost bank is ridiculous. I would also make NZ another territory of Australia. 😃
