Hi ya Paul. The weather has been great so far this fall. I have been so busy this year with all my kids. I have 5 by the way. God answered my prayers and the daughter I haven't seen in about 13 years just called me out of the blue sky and now we have a great relationship again. Isn't Our God so good! Have you ever thought of using different sizes of zipties to help with all the bulk shelves and polls??? Put some in your pockets. His Lewy Body with Parkinson's has progressed and they think he is suffering seizures. Started a new med for the seizures this week and thankfully none this week as of yet.

@@christophertaylor2464 The Law. There are several acts and other court cases that protect stores if they donate in good faith and something was bad. Most stores simply don't want to deal with the possibility, so they just trash everything. some even go so far as to destroy everything to prevent dumpster divers from getting anything of use, which is both unnecessary and a massive waste. The act and the regs are easily found on google search and is worth the reading.

Suggestion; Drill a couple of holes in the top of the metal rack at the tailgate. then rig up a couple of Eye bolts that you can connect a cross bar on that end. Then when you get scrap that is too long for the bed you can strap it down on top of the rack. I did it and it works really well. Just an Idea from another old scrapper. It used a couple of u-bolts to hold it and it can be removed when needed..

I hope everything turned out all right with your doctor's visit. Even though it was a light scrap day I still enjoyed the video, especially seeing that there are some stores donating still good food to the Salvation Army food pantry. I've seen some videos where some dumpster divers have found unexpired food in cases and unopened packages that stores threw out to make room for new deliveries of food and other items. Fortunately some of these cases and packages were of food items that wouldn't expire until January of next year so these divers were going to take what was salvageable to several shelters. It's such a waste that they don't have a same arrangement with the Salvation Army in those places as those stores do where you live. Take care of yourself Paul. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

46 Years (telling my age😁) ago i almost got fired at a kmart store because i would not throw away perfectly good seasonal clothes, (they said they got a bigger tax write off from the government if they throw it away over giving donations). Told them i would sue them if they fired me, they never asked me to throw anything away again.
