Treasures I Brought back from AdeptiCon 2023

Thanks for showing your loot 😊 I use sticky back tufts from Leadbear's Tufts, made here in Australia. They stick really well, never need glue. Have you ever thought of using some Warlord Games pike and shot plastic sprues for extra conversion possibilities?

Haha, I thought you showed commendable restraint on your flocking purchases. We have limited choice here in Montana, but we do have woodland scenics, vallejo and army painter turfts and flocks in our local stores. That GSW and Huge stuff looked really good, though, so please let us know if it's worth ordering online.

The dark skin tones on your minis look fabulous! Any tips on getting that type of color/finish? I’m struggling on what paint colors to use.

I use three different colour schemes , one I start with a grey primer from Army Painter then use there speed paint Dark Wood and highlight with Fur Brown. The second I would start with Army Painters black paint and then dry brush with Oak Brown and highlight again with the Fur brown. The third method I start with a grey primer then move to Fur Brown and highlight with barbarian flesh or tanned flesh. These are all Army painter colours. These will give you three very different out comes but great depending on what Native force you are painting.

Awesome haul! Hey, so you bought some static grass, do you make your own tufts with a static grass applicator or just sprinkle it on bases?

I mostly sprinkle it on. But definitely looking to try new methods.

I have definitely considered look into making my own. The dollar store moss I ended up working with was really good as flocking I have bought several colours and plan on expanding on this

Where did you find red dice? I’ve ordered from 2 different places that show red in the ad then send black

They had them at the FirelockGames booth at AdeptiCon. I am sure if you ask there customer support team on line they can make sure you get some red ones.
