1980-1989 Lincoln Penny Errors & Varieties Complete Guide - Values & Clear Explanation

There are a lot of valuable errors on pennies minted from 1909 to 1919, so I made a clear and concise presentation to explain exactly what to look for and their values. There are quite a range of possible penny errors to look for, and knowing the big coins will be very helpful. However, in addition to the major varieties, I also cover all of the minor varieties recognized by PCGS so that you have the complete picture. Two pieces of advice: when selling, remember that there generally aren’t tons of these coins on the market, so values can fluctuate based on demand at a specific moment when a coin comes to the market, and in general, look for coins in slabs that have missed variety attributions.

I really enjoyed that video. The 1980s has a lot going on. I knew there were a lot of dds but wasn't an expert on what was what just the basics like the 82, 83, double ear and transitional 88. I can swear I have a dd 81 of course machine doubling can be tricky I guess. Excellent video u make it so easy to understand thanks again!

Hey Kristen I watched a video here a few weeks back. And you were putting something called nic-a-date I believe it was it was a liquid you were putting it on Buffalo nickels to reveal the dates. I have a 82 that looks like it was sprayed wrong on the front and back of the coin and I have about 10 82's. It sticks out like a sore thumb wish I could show you. It also looks double dyed
