Not once in my life have I aspired to run something so large. How many people are required to maintain the facility? Not the plants, just the building? It's like you go from doing a thing to running people, which is kind of the same no matter what the industry. Maybe it's unrealistic, but a team of 2-3 people who bring the skills and passion, maybe an apprentice per person and someone who's passion is to run an office and I guess a retail store, if that is the best model. Getting hired there is an awesome goal, an awesome achievement, seeing how it's done even if it's almost impossible for any one person to understand the processes beginning to end. Getting on the hampster wheel of massive debt and creating a monster that cannot be stopped, cannot be controlled, that takes on a life of it's own. You have different interests competing for different goals. In short, it becomes a business, like any other business, but one that at it's heart is based on trying to control a magical plant. I always think of the book "The Giving Tree" or "The Lorax". Who speaks for the trees? Sea of green is super efficient. I would add a remote facility, a farm upstate so to speak, where the genetics could be grown regeneratively, in the sun and not be under pressure to perform. Maybe every 2 years rotate in the fresh girls. It's not nice to pimp mother nature.
