I lost almost half of my hair due to alopecia areata but now I started local corticosteroid therapy (intralesional injection)and it does work but slowly .. so I suggest you please go to a good dermatologist don't waste ur time bcz I did the same and my patches became more bigger.. go to a dermatologist and start the proper therapy asap .. it is time taking so don't delay
