Treatment of Hypothyroidism for Infertility

Does TSH 3.5 and positive anti-TPO (153) have anything to do with elevated prolactin (53)? How would you treat this? And will it increase chances of miscarriage and implantation issues? Thank you Dr!

IG maybe! The Prolactin should be rechecked in the morning after the TSH is brought down below 2.5.....usually with levothyroxin.

I'd appreciate your input. I have hypothyroidosm and on a high dose of NP Thyroid- my labs look great, except, the thyroid medication somehow makes my TSH extremely low (.01). If I take a lower dose of NP, my labs show lower than optimal T3 and T4. Can't figure out what to do. Having recurring early miscarriages. 2 fertility specialists told me they won't even treat me with my TSH being so low. Is this common?

So I am hoping you can help me. I've never and I mean never had a thyroid problem it has always been normal. So all of a sudden me and my husband want to get pregnant and my tsh level is 4.7. I don't understand how all of a sudden it has spiked. I am over weight and have been my whole life. Have not nor ever had any health issues. Please help I don't understand what changed I went to the doctor's for 6 months saying something was wrong I wasn't ovaltining. And finally because I miss a period they did a blood test thats how I found out. What could have caused the high tsh level 🤔 and how or what can I eat to help it go down and help me ovation. I am tired of going to the doctor's and they think I'm crazy cause I want a baby I had I don't know.the doctor called it a chemical pregnancy almost 2 years ago I don't even believe or know if I was really pregnant ever. I am so confused and I don't understand I had my birth control removed almost 8 months ago and I could tell something was different this time... Dr please help I am at a lost and I just want a honest chance to get pregnant and be a mother... sorry for the long post. Also I'd like to know where in missouri you are located i live in Kansas
