Treatments for Dark Under Eye Circles | Results with Before & Afters

Let's discuss the Medical spa treatments I just got to reduce the appearance of my under eye circles and rejuvenate my face. I'll discuss my treatment plan, the cost, and show before and afters with the results.
Im now in my mid thirties and want my skin to look amazing without makeup. Unfortunately my under eye area always makes me look tired and OLD!

It's so desperately unfair to be/feel incredibly healthy and energetic, and yet have hereditary eyes that make you look like you haven't slept in 10 years. I've also suffered my entire life with this, and other than surgery, I doubt anything can be done. I don't want to go the filler route (fear of how that will eventually look, and longevity of it etc). I was curious to hear that your derm prescribed the retinol for use in your eye region - every board certified derm I've seen on here strongly advises against using them around the orbital bone. How "close" to your eyes did you use it? I can live with my darkness in pigment, but I'm desperate to reduce my tear duct deep line - its really just becoming one huge valley all around my eye socket now and I hate it. If retinol has some slight effect by enhancing calogen where the lines eye to diminish them, I'll be happier. Did you notice much difference just using the retinol, before the botox? You look great by the way!

Hello and thank you for watching! There is specific retinol products for use around eyes but my dermatologist said it was okay. I read mixed opinions online. I have noticed my skin overall looks rejuvenated and fresh, it’s not a drastic change in the under eye area but does make a difference.

@@CaelaCook Thanks for the reply. I haven't begun my retinol journey yet - it was the eye situation that really started my interest but (indeed) there's so much conflicting advice all over the internet its very difficult making a decision - the last thing I want/can afford, is to make my eye region worse. I think a safe-ish bet for me would be to try the cerave resurfacing serum which seems to get universal approval, and it's a mild retanol so ill just trial a tiny amount in a very targeted way directly on the fold line of the tear duct/bone. Fingers crossed it wont irritate and eventually I'll get some calogen regrowth to fill out that line. Another product I'm going to start using from Cerave is their tinted sheer 30spf sunscreen for my eye region - you might want to check it out. Its a mineral sun screen, so not only really great on terms of a daily screen/moisturizer replacement, but the tint will also help conceal dark eyes (it's safe for use around eyes, so just a very small amount will help). The sheer one is the one to get though, it's much more liquid and easier to spread.

You can do retinol fillers and Botox simultaneously. However you can’t do laser treatments right after Botox and fillers.

.05 I did some research and the effects of all strengths will even out over time so there’s no need to start super aggressive. My last dermatologist did that and my skin never got over the irritation.

Once you start the Botox is it something that you have to continue? Also do you take collagen in any form? Thanks! Very informative video!

I taken collagen powder. The retinol and brighten me works wonders. It’s not that you need to keep getting it, but it doesn’t wear off after 3-6 months
