@@ryankanton Fiji was first inhabited by Lapita people's: It's science proven and 100 % facts!! Later large migrations of Melanesians arrived in 1000AD outnumbering the Lapita people's in Fiji, other lapita people's had already left for Sāmoa and Tonga 1500 years before christ existence, large migrations were still going on towards the eastern part of Polynesia. The tuiga's you see, which is a Sāmoan headpiece from the kingdom of Manu'a.The legend goes the Prince of Manu'a was trying to court the princess from Upolu, because he was unattractive and after trying with so many attempts, he had used the shells, fala and other materials around at the time to create what we know as a Tuiga. It soon became Teu Fa'aSāmoa really quickly. And that is the facts. Moreover this has nothing to do with Africa or your Melanesian, stop the trolling. Each part of Sāmoa has different attires from ie tóga's, valavala's, kiki fulufulumoa, lipene, lauti, fau, sei, pale's,etc..Ula fala, nifo, moso'oi etc..Selu tuiga, and many more. Many of Sāmoa's current attires originate from Manu'a,Upolu and Savai'i. Malofie Sāmoa is from Fitiuta,Manu'a facts. Seriously Melanesian people with Malofie get a life.Worry about poverty and ending civil war in Africa or Melanesia. In Sāmoa we never go hungry. We love our cultures it's truly Sāmoan and nothing else!! #Teu Fa'aManu'a #Teu Fa'aSāmoa #Manu'a #Sāmoa

Samoan people are known for their warm smiles and friendly personalities. They have a gift for welcoming and accepting just about anyone they meet. So it's no surprise that qualities such as hospitality, cooperation, respect, and consensus are highly valued in Samoan culture.
