Last winter I used a chair, sturdied ontop a couple of 6x6 timber chunks. on top of said chair, was a couple of industrial paint cans. I used this method to achieve access to the roof of my house, to clear off some snow from a roof vent. Not only am i suprised, i am astonished and proud, that Steve and Crazy Naybz not only have FOUND the same textbook i have. But they are utilizing, and quite well i might add, the techniques learned through this handbook. (p.s. - you 2 should totally have a ```hunkering down handbook``)...i`d totally step into McNally Robinson for the first time to purchase it. anyways. have a good weekend, fellas.

You should have used the wood to complete the upstairs so like that you would have a fully enclosed tree cabin upper level... Then use one of those tarps over the roof to protect from water leakage from the snow until you would be able to finish the roof... Then you would have had a fully enclosed level where you can winter camp and the mister buddy heater could keep you more warm... A good tip is to put a line of cork on the lip of the board before you place the next one on nice and tight like this no cold air can enter threw the gaps... This way you keep the cold out and keep the heat in since it's not gonna be double walled plus insulated...
