You think your videos aren't entertaining when you're just hanging out, meanwhile all your fans are checking the time stamp to see how much time is left in the video because we don't want it to end yet! For some reason you have the ability to make us all feel like your friends, I've never seen anyone else like you on KZbin...let's just call you the KZbin unicorn because you are such a rare and kindred spirit. That kinship you foster means we are also sensitive to your feelings and grieve with you, and although we obviously are not going through exactly what you are going through, we do share in your grief and keep you in your hearts. So please, do not underestimate the worth of your videos, you are a very beloved presence in the lives of your fans and any time you spend with us in your videos is time well spent. I don't expect you to see this comment out of the thousands of comments you get, but maybe you will feel all the collective love and good vibes coming your way from all of us fans who love you.

Strangely enough, that's one of the most cheerful xmas light display's I've ever seen. Something about the cold weather and the rugged outdoors cabin makes it work really well. Heppa heppa!

I had checked yesterday because I was worried about you with all the things you're going through, and then I see this. Stay strong dude! You have a whole base of subscribers and viewers who want to see you do what you love

Same here. It's wild to think that we worry about a person who we have never met but I do and pray that Steve stays healthy and has things in order mentally. I'm sure that's what his beautiful wife would want

I'm not in the Christmas spirit this year too... My mother past away from cancer on the morning of last Christmas... This period of the year is particuly difficult... It was so quick, 3 weeks since we had the diagnosis and her last moments... So dont apologize, grieving takes time. Thanks Steve for your video, it brighten up my day. Take care buddy.

Steve, I didn't want to say this, but I would've cried if I did not. Once again, I'm so sorry for your loss, what happened was something that my mind cannot comprehend yet. Spending holidays without that special someone in your life anymore must be so damn hard... I'm really glad and grateful, though, because you have people that support you and help you get through when you need it the most! Thanks a lot to Crazy Neighbor in particular for being there for you and supporting you in continuing with your KZbin Channel content, and THANK YOU for staying strong and giving us more content! I love you man, stay strong and Happy Holidays! *also, Happy Birthday, Crazy Neighbor!

Glad to have you back, Steve. My condolences as this will be my first holiday without my wife as well. It doesn't take much to bring up memories and thoughts of things you'd like to tell them. Your videos have always helped me.

"Picked up a few strings of Christmas lights" - Proceeds to turn the treehouse into a navigational aid for aircraft. You're just the best, man. It's so nice to see you. (crazy neighbor and Garbage, too) It's so cool that Garbage has his own 'tree house' to bird watch in. Good call on being careful in the freezing weather. I'm looking forward to your train trip!

My heavens, Steve! 1.18 that is absolutely nuts. It’s been just over 30 years so I’ve seen a handful of channels blow up over the years. None of them more deserving of it than you. I’ll be sending you another step 2! Stay warm my friend! Edit: Obnoxiously cheerful…the perfect way to describe this holiday season.

The first Christmas dealing with loss was a struggle for me. I imagine it's never easy for anyone going through it. Be kind to yourself. It can be a whirlwind of friends and family, but it's okay to take time to be by yourself if you need it. You're good people. I hope 2023 brings you everything you need.

God bless you Steve! It's always a treat to see where you lay your head for the night, whether that's in a storm drain, or the treehouse. It really doesn't matter. It's just a pleasure to follow you on your journey and to see what culinary delights you're going to come up with that you slap on a fresh bun. Keep on keeping on Steve. Peace be with you.

Let out a shout of joy and shed a little tear, it's damn good to see you back Steve! The holidays can be tough and it's ok to not be ok sometimes. You got a bunch of folks rooting for you on this side of the screen and I'm sure plenty back home. Hope you and yours have as Happy a Christmas as can be! 🍻
