I think the dark self is the negative aspects of growing up where a lot of people think they have to stop enjoying things that they see as childish. I think a lot of the journal pages lean this way.

Honestly, an Atlantis themed storyline would make perfect sense for this game. Also, if we follow the current pattern we will be getting Update 6 in August which is still summer & Atlantis fits perfectly with the whole underwater theme.

Everyone talks about the old ruler as a good person but having made bad decisions, so I am wondering if it is the dark half of our avatars, sort of like a split from the light half. Our old ruler made not-so-wise decisions. Maybe we will learn why the old ruler left and put the Forgetting in place

The shadow in the treehouse is the shadow of a guy maybe the tree house is mama oodis and the shadow is the shadowman dr. Whats his name from the princess and the frog because the shadow in the tree house is tall

Just take a closer look at the size and shape of the shadow in the artwork just like the shadow in the artwork of the pumpkin house that showed the shadow of fairy godmother this artwork of the treehouse is showing us a upcomeing character it is one of 3 guys from the shape of the shadow and they are . 1 Gaston from Beauty and the Beast 2 the shadow man from Princess and the Frog or three Clayton from Tarzan Delmar my free picks from the shadow in the treehouse

I just loggef in to dreamlight valley and the trees around the pumpkin house i had wete moved and the pumpkin house as smoke comeing out of it now and i just seen something i naver seen b4 in the forgotten lands near the 4 crystals in the back of the forgotten lands there a big opening between the big thrones and you can see blight purple light if u look at it i thk this will be a new opening in the future. But there is activity come from the pumpkin house now and my trees were moved that i do not get.

I think (almost from the beginning) that the dark self is what WE "destroyed" or helped, the valley , that's why we forgot, because some of the bad characters made us to do it.

THANK YOUUUU!!! I was getting tired of all of the Peter Pan speculation! That one didn't make any sense since he lives in a den UNDER a hollowed out tree!! I recognised the treehouse and I was hoping someone would make a video where they covered the truth and not the speculation!

Split realms, the starting world will get rid of the night thorns and they will now exclusively be in the shadow realm version of the kingdom where we will get a mirror world of the main realm, but gloomy and dark where we can fully unlock and build like we initially did. This way they give us a much larger area to build while getting over the performance issues of too many objects in the one world. As well as creating room to support ore characters and give us a dump for the annoying ones we don't like.
