Thank you for getting rid of that horrific paint job it came it with!! Super nice job on keeping the original spirit of the bike intact, while adding a good personal touch, for the customer!

Another great Johnnys video. These old classics are great bikes still. In the day, I had a couple of Kaws. My first was a kz 650, then moved up to a KZ 1000. I used to go to Johhnys for parts and knowledge. What a great person. Keep it going my friend.

russell laureto I'm jealous of the fact you had a gpz turbo .. I've always loved them and they are such cool looking bikes. I had a stock gpz 750 and I had a gpz 900r. Loved it a wished I never sold it.

75 is the best Z1 and blue is the coolest color...I've had all of them over the years..traded a 73 Z1 for a Suzuki RG 500 Gamma at one time...now I have a 78 kz650 and a 79 KZ1000 ST...a very reliable and comfortable rider...

Couple questions on the build, what’s the little back fire pops? What causes it? Was the tank repainted or a reproduction? Also How Affordable was the the overall build? Gorgeous build!
@torsten96286 жыл бұрын
Pretty sure those little pops on idle and engine braking are from carbs not being adjusted properly for the increased airflow from pod filters and aftermarket exhaust (if they can even be adjusted for that much airflow?)

That's a nice finished too that z900 Johnny Yeah executed that one real good.... I'm going to customise my 1980 ltd I'm going to make it look like a 78 z1000 with the z900 75 colour paint red colour not the blue & spoke wheels & smooth bored carburettors 73 to 75 carbs I'll reject them ... Straight handlebars and z900 seat... the MK2 engine in this ltd it's a super engine smooth & with smooth bored carb's man it's going to move....it's a fast bike as it is...😎😎😎🏍️🏍️🏍️💯💯💯👈👈

Is there a better sound than a DOHC-8 Valve Kawasaki with a Kerker megaphone exhaust? Not to my ears. Although a fleet of two stroke triples rolling through a small town is also pretty impressive.

What is up with the constant reving the bike . Just let it idle and warm up . I can fire up my 79 and turn the choke right off and it will idle under 1000 and warm up. You continuously rev the motor????????? When cold
