I have always loved the mix of sadness and triumph in the first movement of this work. I feel like it captures the sweetness and sacrifice it takes to find and stay by the Tree. Singing in this work was such a spiritual experience, and listening to it again fills me with desire to "Behold the Lamb" again and again.

The music for this work has brought the Tree of Life vision alive in my life! Each song reflects so well the message of the text. I especially love the image of Christ as the Iron Rod. When I hold fast to scripture, I am holding tightly to Christ!

This was an ABSOLUTE JOY to create. My favorite moment of this performance is at 4:50, the moment when all the choir sings about "heeding not" Satan, the world, anything that keeps us from the love of God. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this choir, soloists, and tech team that made this come to pass.

This is such an amazing story. A reminder of light vs darkness, good vs evil, and the fact that light always wins against darkness. I am so grateful this story has been put to the most touching and beautiful music. Thank you for sharing this! ❤

So excited it's out!! 5:30 & 20:35 give me chills - you can feel the spirit testify that the experiences we read about in the Book of Mormon are true. God can be just as involved in our stories as he was in theirs!

I absolutely loved singing in this production! It helped me have more appreciation for the vision Lehi and Nephi had and how Christ centered it was. He is the tree of life, his word the iron rod that will lead us back to him. Thank you CJ for such a wonderful opportunity!

What a fun experience to witness the evolution of this work. From hearing CJ sing and play each piece as he was inspired to compose them, to performing the completed work in our home with family and close friends, to watching CJ's Arizona LDS Institute Choir perform it, and finally, to be invited to sing with this AMAZING choir for the Utah premiere. My favorite songs are "A Tree", "The Power of the Holy Ghost", and "White in the Blood of the Lamb". Thank you CJ, choir, soloists, video, and tech team, for bringing the scriptures to life in such a beautiful and profound way!

I got the wonderful opportunity to sit through both the performance and the recording(yes, the back of my head is in this video), and I felt the spirit so strongly. I've never thought about the tree of life like that before, it provided a wonderful point of view. Great job everyone!

Awesome 👏🏻! I am so grateful that I was able to be a part of this amazing project. I love all of the music but my favorite part was when we sang “the iron rod” at the end. It’s so simple yet so powerful

What a privilege to have been a part of this. Thank you CJ. My 3 year old basically has "A Tree" memorized and sings it with me for scripture time at night. It just melts my heart to hear her delight in stories from the Book of Mormon. I love the Book of Mormon and the relationship with Christ it has helped me foster, and singing about it just heightens that love.
