Looks like a good use of a rigging ring, when needing a control line. Simple setup.

I would set it up with the speed line anchored directly to the tree, and put the ring a bit below for the controlled descents. That would prevent any rope on rope contact. The current set up could allow the ropes to rub and I'm sure we all know how much it sucks to burn a rope.

Good point! That's a great idea for a set up.

It works ok I only don't like the friction between the control line vs the atache point of the speed line ( mostly on the knot at the rigging ring) Thanks

One solution to this could be separate the lines, ataching the speed line directly to the stem an the rigging ring for the control line below the speed's line atache point.

A speed line needs speed to run through that brush that's slowing things down.!!!😜👍

Your control line could easily abraid your speedline in that configuration

True, if one was not vigilant with their rigging approach.

@@BartlettArboristSupply watch after 8:18 It takes but a second or 2 rubbing a line under tension to cut enough for it to fail

It makes me so happy how we (cause i do it too...) rev the imaginary engine on our E chainsaws... Lol! If you don't it might cut off on you. :)
