Well because the swirls she applied. Those colors are gorgeous and swirled well. If it was a straight pour it wouldn't have come out as sleek looking.

Yes, there was a learning curve, Becky! Lol, I do love swirling as I did in the first one. I just had to laugh at myself for getting so complicated with the funnel tool I made for the column that didn't work at all. 🤭💕

Thank you so much for these. My partner and I binge watched a bunch last night. I have been just kind of flailing around in the dark in my own soap making, and I'm ashamed to say as a KZbinr that it didn't occur to me until this week that I could maybe look up some of the techniques that I've been dying to try. LOL I mostly learned from books and web articles. You have given me so much inspiration in the last 24 hours to just dive in, experiment, and have some fun making soap again. Now I need to go clean out my craft corner to look for unused painting supplies for mixing colors. OMG and also I love how freaking meticulous you are on everything. I'm over here just slopping stuff around all over the place. You've truly given me so many things to think about and consider for my next batch of soap. Game changer, and thank you for inspiring me to fall in love with the craft all over again.

Hi, this soap is SENSATIONAL!!!! I have another question: when you used the chopstick to swirl, did you go all the way to the bottom of the mold (through the white base layer of soap), or did you only swirl to the top of the white soap base that was in the mold ie: a portion of the way to the bottom? Because we can’t see the back of the bars, I can’t tell. Thanks Terri.

Terri, I am astounded. If you had chosen painting as your profession, you would have been an avant garde artist and your works would have decorated the walls of great galleries. Painting lost and Soaping won. One question. How did you take those pentagon shaped molds out after filling?
@angertone2132 жыл бұрын
I have to admit, when I look at your soaps I don't consider them soaps. They seem more like art pieces or bathroom decor. At 10 USD per 5oz bar this would be one of the most expensive soaps out in the martket.
