I had told my dad we needed to get his affairs in order for him and our property. He called and finally told me yes! A few months ago, my dad was diagnosed with neurovascular disease, which become dementia. I, myself, have an IRREVOCABLE trust named using my full name (First name, Middle name, 1st Last name, 2nd Last name) (I am Latino so I have my paternal and maternal last names). I need to create my revocable living trust. I don't think I can use my full name again, correct? Am I able to use a variant? Such as my first name, 1st Last name? What about the dozens of steps you know nothing about like taking care of you when your vulnerable, our parents estate plan cost 50% in billable litigation hours, because the Estate Planner made mistakes he couldn't fix, We can draft our own Trust but it takes a Trusted Advisor and team of Allied Legal Professionals to make it work, It's like a plane ticket that takes a crew to deliver on the plan.
