In California if you decide to add your child on to the house deed, your property tax will be reassessed at current value. It's better to have them inherit it through a trust but there are still those California laws to follow. They suck.

Hi Edmund, does MAPT pay for your medical bills if you are not in the nursing home? There are people who ar eligible for Medicaid they live in their home and Medicaid pays for all their medical bills plus they have caretaker to come to their house to take care of them and they don’t pay any of this.

so what if someone was initially poor starting out in life and utilized medicaid and then later prospered and didn't need medicaid even until the end of life? will medicaid still pursue the money that was used from that person's earlier years?
