Hey, welcome to another Sunday evening video. Was called in to clean this roof for the next door neighbour of a previous happy customer.
Now anyone that cleans roofs for a living will know that most of the time, it's not an easy job in more ways than one, and there will nearly always be an issue or two that will challenge you in some way, and slow the job down. This can range from anything from overgrown trees or bushes getting in the way, bees or birds nesting that are protected by law, and you can't go anywhere near them, and bad access to name just a few, the list goes on and on. There's always likely to be something, and this job was no different.

Hi Nick! You get hired at the prettiest houses! This one really appeals to me! I love the look of the trees along the fence at 3:10. Such a tidy solution. I'm thinking I might copy it... Anyway, love the buildings, the trees, the curved walls at the entry and around where you stood to finish the garage. And empty fields across the street and on one side! Perfect! Now that we've sorted my real estate wishlist... 😂😂 This job had some interesting twists, but nothing you couldn't deal with! Such a close call with that scaffolding on the side of the house - I sucked in and held my breath and didn't breath out till you had it in place to give you that extra bit of room! 😂 Had to laugh at myself for that, as if I helped! The triumphant, satisfied grin at 16:43 says it all. Loved the jaunty little wave at 24:55! And you brought out your inner arborist for the area around the garage! Nice work! Such nice tiles under all that lichen and muck, it came up beautiful. You did a good turn with that tree trimming, too! I don't know if it's the correct term, but we've always called those saplings that spring up from the base of a tree "suckers", since they're connected to the same root system, and are part of the tree, but suck life away from the main trunk. It's generally good to clear them away. The tree on the council strip in front of my place grows them and I'm forever mowing them down.

What a beautiful roof with scallop edged tiles. They don't make them with that craftmanship any more. And you couldn't even see them. A fantastic clean up on a complicated design. Now the tiler can see what he is looking at. Looks gorgeous now. ❤👍🔥

This is the first roof-cleaning job that I have watched. I never realized that roofs could look so different with a good wash. Most roofs in the states are roofing shingles and I’ve never known anyone who had one washed. The tiles used on this home’s roof are really pretty. Some of the homes in other areas of the states use tiled roofs so I guess they might use this service. I’ve always loved the pictures of a lot of homes and cottages in the UK. The tiled roofs are part of that charm. Thanks for sharing this job with us!

Nice job! A rare case of Gardener Nick, but I totally understand the customer there. I don't own any trees or bushes and I'm glad about it because I'd struggle to keep them nice. Clumsy Nick appears again, too, but that one isn't rare at all 😂 I'm starting to worry about your camera. I hope the few black dots I saw weren't some malfunction 😮 It's not only the mortar of that top tile, but all the edges look a bit weird to me. As if mortar is quelling out of them. Here is a question, general category. If you have a roof that you've cleaned and it is "just beginning to show deterioration", what would be viable? Treat it again with a) biocide, or b) reclean the roof c) reclean and retreat with biocide d) leave it alone for a couple more years? Couldn't see it from the ground, but the new roof has a pretty array of lichen, could almost be an intentional color pattern. A nice red coming through with the cleaning. As the volume, whole roof, gets done, you can see it will have an impressive look all done. In working on the garage, thanks for the reminders about gutter condition, obstructions, things that can affect the speed of needing to redo work, etc. The "matched pair" transformation is very good. Hoping that they will call you for the paving later. The potential is there for that place to really look special.

Hi Nick 👋☺️ Umm I hope that poor camera is insured 😂 Wow I wasn't expecting that pretty a red colour underneath all that muck 😮 As many other people have said looks like they could do with your services on the drive and patio to make ot all look lovely. Maybe another time I imagine it costs a bit so 😊 Well school holidays are upon us 🤦 time to spend lots and lots and lots of quality time with our little (not so little with mine 😂) darlings. Some of Our 'campain' (protest) group were on Look North tonight. Hoping it may shame them into doing something practical about the only resite centre closing. Sadly however it won't stop the staff leaving for secure jobs (quite rightly) and too many go and it closes even sooner (staffing levels) 😭😭

A couple of the trees next to the garage are sequoias. They'll be great when they are 100m tall.
