Treeskiing Cure in Leukerbad | Switzerland

Powder in combination with healing waters, thermal springs, massages, saunas and cheesecake and schnapps afterwards does have its advantages. But such snowy convalescence stays are unfortunately not prescribed by the health insurance company, but by the weather forecast. And in the first weeks of January 2016, the weather forecast predicted the epicentre of the snowfall to be exactly in the Upper Valais in Switzerland. The WhiteHearts crew simply had to take this snow cure. We ended up in the traditional Swiss spa town of Leukerbad, stayed there for a week and from now on we have a new gem on our freeride map. The possibilities lurking here in Leukerbad - on-and-off-piste - take your breath away just as much as the view of the sundowner over the Rhone Valley. No question about it, for the future: "We are in love - with Wallis and Leukerbad!"
