The new Madone 8 is oclv 900 weighing at 760g. They basically trimmed it down to the weight of the Emonda. The new frameset is 6k though. Phew

Is it only me or 6lbs 3oz (2800 grams) is very high for an expensive frame with a fork, seatpost and handlebars? My no-name Walmart L size gravel alloy frame is 1850 gram, 400g for Ali cf integrated handlebars, cf 450 grams for fork, 150 grams for seatpost. Granted it is also headset +axles, but I have 2850 grams without those. I may be missing something. Great video

@@robbarmstrong8702 Thank you for your answer! The deal is many people I know (including myself) prefer wider tires, 42-45 is like new norm for bad roads with tubeless. Comfy ride is the king. Have to use gravel frames for that.

I like the wide-tire life! Run pretty wide tires for *road use. I like 32s and tubeless. As you stated above, comfort is King 👑 #RobbArmstrong
