Great video and also great article, as I made my decision to purchase the Trek Precaliber 24 for my son after your detailed article where you had 3 different size kids model the use of the bike. This gave me better understanding of what to expect of the bike. I have a 9 1/2 years old who’s on the taller side and the bike adjustability are tremendous.

This is awesome! Thank you! We want these for our twins, but we are worried about them being able to shift. Is it easy for your son to shift?
@Twowheelingtotsbikes3 жыл бұрын
He managed just fine, but he is also pretty accustomed to shifting. For really new riders, shifting is certainly going to be more challenging on the Trek as compared to higher-end bikes, but pretty comparable to similarly priced bikes. In the end, unless you plan on doing aggressive riding with them, which really forces kids to shift quickly and correctly, issues with shifting from the get-go shouldn't be a problem on the Precaliber. As they get more confident with their riding, shifting will become more natural and easier for them to manage.

In your other video 'Best 24 inch kids bikes', you mentioned REI co-op rev plus. How do you compare the two?
@Twowheelingtotsbikes3 жыл бұрын
Our written review makes several comparisons between the two bikes. www.twowheelingtots.com/trek-precaliber-24-kids-bike-review/

Would be awesome to know how tall the kid ridning the bike is? Im not sure if I should go for 24" or 27.5"
@nataliemartins30942 жыл бұрын
More details about sizing can be found in our review, www.twowheelingtots.com/trek-precaliber-24-kids-bike-review/, but the child shown here has a 24" inseam. We don't have his exact height at this time, but likely around 52".
@Twowheelingtotsbikes2 жыл бұрын
The kids shown in the review was 8-years-old with a 24" inseam. We don't have record of his height at this time, but with kids bikes, inseam is typically a much better indicator of determining a proper fit on a bike.

$470 is a pretty standard price for the Precaliber 24.Are you seeing it more expensive somewhere else?
