I just bought the Lumina 45, women’s version, for my first back pack. I hope I will love it 😊

I just got a Levity 45 to hold my pack rafting equipment. It was challenging to find a pack that held the pack raft, had pockets to hold the paddle shafts, and attachments to hold the life jacket, as well as enough room to hold day-trip food and a change of clothes. This pack had everything I needed. My first pack rafting adventure included a rocky, technical hike (4-mile round trip and 1,000 feet vertical) up a mountain to a pond at the top. The pack weighed in at around 16 lbs and I was shocked at how comfortable and well-balanced it felt.

Quite fancy getting this to replace my Exos 46. It's the older version that hurts my shoulders.

As far as size goes, do these fit true to their size charts? or do they run smaller than list size? I have a shorter torso (18.25") but there is a large Levity 45 I can get new for $250 Canadian. On Osprey's website they list 20" as needing a M or L pack and both 18" and 19" as needing a S or M pack.

Hi Doug, Osprey is pretty spot on with bag back length sizing so I would be inclined to go with what they say. To be sure, you can use their back sizing app. Google "Osprey back sizing app" and you should find it. We are in the UK so we only have access to ospreyeurope.com.

Have you tried the Osprey Hornet before? How do you think the Levity compares?
@trekitt5 жыл бұрын
I'm afraid we don't stock the Hornet, so we wouldn't be able to offer a detailed comparison.

Is this bag small enough to fit as hand luggage on budget airlines?
@trekitt3 жыл бұрын
I'd recommend checking with your chosen airline as there isn't a standard measurement unfortunately. The dimensions of the bag are 68cm(L) / 40cm(W) / 30cm(D). Regards, Harry.

What do you think about durability when you traveling by airplane can the frame withstand in those conditions
@trekitt4 жыл бұрын
Hi Miroslav. The Levity is not the best choice for a travel pack. Whilst it is well made it is primarily designed to be ultra-lightweight. I would recommend a tougher pack - the Kestrel 48 would be perfect www.trekitt.co.uk/37935/products/osprey-mens-kestrel-48-black.aspx

Almost sold on buying it. Just Concerned about durability.
@trekitt5 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately there is always a trade-off. It won't be as durable as a Fjallraven pack for example, but it depends where your priorities lie.

Can this fit into a cabin size luggage?
@trekitt2 жыл бұрын
It depends on your chosen airline. The dimensions are: 68L / 40W / 30D. Check these against your airline's max measurements and you should get a definitive answer. Harry

Have you used the pack in the past year? If so, how about an update?
@trekitt5 жыл бұрын
Afraid not. It was a stock item taken from our shop, so it hasn't been used any more than during the video.

Is it waterproof I wonder? Only praises and no negatives 😑
@trekitt5 жыл бұрын
Nope. You won't find many waterproof rucksacks unfortunately as it adds far too much weight; you're better off just using a raincover.
