Thank you for sharing your hikes. You are fabulous Beckey. Not just you inspire and insight me, but you actually teach me british english. English is not my first language, and you happen to speak slowly and clearly. Love it when you say 'lush' and 'mental'. Above all, i appreciate the lovely person reflecting back at me. Every time you smile, your eyes sparkle, brightening up my day.

Great video Becky. You are an inspiration to us older folks that can't get out there and do the walks. You have a great attitude towards your hike, just go one day at a time and not worry about the total distance. Be careful about heating meals in those bags and using the water afterwards for coffee. Some bags when heated like that can put some toxins in the water. At least they did when I have used them in the past. That may have changed over the years. Stay safe and healthy. Looking forward to the next video.

When I started watching this, I had my doubts as to whether you'd complete it. But within a few minutes it was obvious that you had the skill, judgement, experience, enthusiasm and determination to be successful. It inspired me to train up and hike the CWT which I have just completed - but with a midge net :)

14:19 is a slow worm or deaf adder which the name scared me as a kid. They’re harmless legless lizards and are a protected species in the UK. Always nice to see one, it’s been a good 3 or 4 years since I’ve been lucky enough to stumble upon one. Looking forward to watching this after seeing Hazey do it a few months back. It’s about time we had a north v south boy v girl collaboration between my 2 favourite outdoors you tubers.
