This is the best method for making these DIY dividers I've seen on youtube. A lot of them are janky. Thanks!

Great diy! I was contemplating on picking up a trekpak system. I’m glad I looked on KZbin and discovered this system! Seen a few others using hair pins as fasteners but I like the cotter pin version. A lot more sturdy, Costs about $1 each at Lowe’s and found I could get like a hundred on Amazon for like $8. Thanks Amazon 😊 picked up the corrugated plastic panels at Lowe’s. Seen another video using self adhesive foam lining and gonna opt for 1/8” thickness to have that extra security from items banging around. Another reason for going the foam route I was thinking of felt on how over time the little fibers will start falling off and possibly having to clean my lenses more and so I felt foam liners would keep it clean. All in all between your video and a couple others I think I can put together an awesome system comparable to the trekpak! Thank you!

Any wig shop will have jumbo sized pins btw, which are thinner than cotter's, but springier and tough

What's that black sticky material that you've used to transfer the white plastic into black? Does it add any foaming? Or just color?

Thank you for asking,It is a jewelry box liner, used In jewelry boxes, with gear moving around a minor amount while transporting it will add some protection from scratching, even though the vinyl is smooth having no protection the minor rubbing will eventually leave marks on your gear.

What size cotter pin worked best?

Could also use bobby pins....I'd go to a wig shop or beauty supply and get the really heavy duty ones. Honestly don't be shy about walking in, if you tell the ladies working the shop what you're doing with them, I've never been in one that wouldn't be interested to see a picture and want to show you anything they could recommend

Thank you for asking, I used cotter pins. They can be found in most automotive or hardware stores.

How did you get the edges of the board to be so clean ? It’s like cut directly on the corrugation. And it’s pinned so nicely together flat on flat surface

The coragated plastic was cut with a table saw.
