PRIVATE RUSSIAN SUITES: Inside the NEW Aeroflot Business Class

Today I’m onboard Aeroflot and their brand new Business Class suites, flown exclusively on their Airbus A350. Given that only a few of their A350’s have been delivered and are flying, this is quite the exclusive look onboard.
I’m flying today from Dubai international airport over to Moscow’s Sheremetyevo. This will be a day flight so as well as reviewing the new suite, i'll look at what food service is provided, the bedding and overall experience in this rare to KZbin insight.
Slight spoiler of course, but my initial impressions of this product were more in line with the hard product of First Class rather than business. As always I'll be benchmarking this product against other recently flown airlines like Air Canada, Qatar Airways and soon to be uploaded Singapore airlines.

I feel this product is right on par with ANA The Room and QSuites. The amenities can certainly be improved but the seat is gorgeous. I hope they retrofit them in the massive cabin of the 777-300ER soon. Great review mate :)

It really blew me away. I've not flown The Room yet, but it was certainly comparable hard product wise to the QSuites (albeit missing the ability to convert to a double bed). If they can pull out the stops for the soft product and make that more inline with the middle eastrern counterparts, we could be on for a real winner! I'm told they'e going to retrofit the 777's... unsure when. And thanks so much for watching my friend

They revealed the new 777 hard product a few days ago and it looks great, though for some reason they went for the Collins Super Diamond+ for their 777s (this was known in advance since the seatmap was leaked, but still - the reveal at SVO was the first time it was confirmed officially)

It's nice to see them finally get the business class experience right as a Russian who used to fly yearly to see family (The pandemic hampered travels this year) with Aeroflot their business class on their 777 was extremely lacking and I always opted for comfort class for a cheaper ticket here it seems you are finally getting what you pay for

Thanks so much Tom. Yeah it totally took me off guard just how good it was. Even though the soft product needs some work, I found out that even the dining is on demand - something only Qatar / Etihad(when they feel like it) offer in Business Class

Aeroflot flies Boeing 777-300 from Moscow to LA, business class is very nice. I was on it about 2 months ago.

Absolutely beautiful color scheme and design. My first flight with Aeroflot was literally to the opposite end of the earth during the last year of the Soviet Union flying from Montreal to Ho Chi MInh City by way of Moscow, Bombay and Hanoi. Flew the most cool looking plane ever aside from the Concord being an IL-62. All orange cabin. It was pure adventure and I loved it!

You're the second travel vlogger I've seen review this airline. Noel Phillips was on one of there planes and the crew even let him take the salt and pepper shakers (he didn't ask he just told the FA he liked them and the FA said he could take them). It's nice to see your video as I don't think he had a suite setup like you. So far it looks like a good airline. I would love to give it a try some day.

Ah yes in comparison to their ageing A330's and 777's this is a totally different experience. I'm told they're planning to retrofit these on some of their 777s and thankfully they have a bunch more A350s coming over the coming months /years

Had a feeling it would be a good one, I started flying SU back in the early 90's when it was a choice when it was a choice of them or connect in London on BA. The trick back then was to buy the cheapest economy ticket, then upgrade to First by talking to the lovely pursuer and giving her the $300 US upgrade fee, in cash, better if it was in $20's. I worked for a casino management company at the time, we went into Moscow to "help" set up a couple of operations, at some point in time I will write a book at some of the crazy crap we saw there, fun times but for the young.

I flew Aeroflot from London to St Petersburg on an IL -69 back in the early 90’s very interesting, the service was exceptional, the hard product was average after coming of a Gulf Air / BA code share business ticket (just before lie flat beds in Business… if you can believe it!). Once the Australian government can credibly vaccinate us and allow us to leave the country (we cannot leave the country at the moment 😩), I will definitely look at booking Aeroflot as I would like to visit family in Russia. I will make sure I can experience the A350, hopefully I can do it with a connection through Singapore or HK but am happy to go through Dubai even if it’s 14 hrs from Melbourne.. nice video

Marhaba is a good lounge when not having access to Business Lounge. I agree never saw it so crowded, but look like it is another ones, the ones is get usually is in terminal 3 and look smaller than the ones you used.

As someone who periodically flies from Moscow, there are 4 airports :) I can say they're pretty alright, just a bit crowded and complex to navigate.

@@mikehouqe8634 Hard to tell for me, both are giant but Sheremetyevo is currently seem to be bigger with three runways and something like 6 terminals, Domodedovo has 3rd runway only under construction. Also Domodedovo is more heavily oriented towards long haul international flights.
