That's all but 3 of my decks casual is supposed to be fun ( :
@revelmonger3 жыл бұрын
@@kingfuzzy2That is an extremely redundant take. Your decks will only ever be what you own/have and whether its fun or not is irrelevant. EDH isn't a casual or competitive format. It's simply the guidelines by which we agree to build decks and what we make of it is our own. I for one love taking "bad" decks and optimizing them to the best of my abilities. If you have 3 casual decks made with draft shaft and you find that fun sure go ahead, but just know that if you dislike playing against an opponents medium power deck, they probably dislike playing against your deck to.
@kingfuzzy23 жыл бұрын
@@revelmonger I don't dislike playing a 2 power deck against an almost cedh deck at all I purposely build bad decks because I like a challenge and so do people I play with like seeing underplayed cards and often put them in their decks. Commander is a casual format and an extension of commander cedh is not and that's where I like to put the spike part of my johney out
@revelmonger3 жыл бұрын
@@kingfuzzy2 Commander isn't casual it will is a format with a wide range of power levels. Saying it's causal when some people value winning more than others is ridiculous. I generally play around 6-8 because I love strong power decks while no being at the cEDH level. And if you enjoy playing a draft shaft deck against cDDH players then you probably won't be playing with them for much longer. People tend to enjoy playing on a level playing field more than they enjoy playing in what is essentially a 3 player pod.

Tl;Dr: Nico/Grist lost this game to the Klothys, but improper game actions "let" Nico win. Based off the actions Nico took on the last turn by sacrificing near everything to Altar of Dementia, he should have lost. The sacrifice is a cost and (at least the way Andrew worded it) Zulaport was one of those sacrificed "first". Even if it was last of the initial stack, Nico wouldn't have gained the necessary life to survive the Beast Within cast.
@greatbrandini39673 жыл бұрын
Nah, the morph and Zulaport were sacced after Atarka's Command was put onto the stack. Don't think many people would question which one he sacced first, though this could've been avoided if Nico sacced his creatures one at a time like you're supposed to, rather than accumulating multiple zulaport triggers at once for that exact reason. Never mind, looks like Nico sacced the Zulaport with the first 5 sacs, so should've died to Atarka's Command. Point still stands on saccing one at a time to removal
@tonyrosetti2738 Жыл бұрын
Sac doesn’t use the stack, but the Zulaport triggers do.
