Great game! Nice to see some classic Golgari lists. Notably, at 6:26, Tyler would get two Orcish Bowmaster triggers from the Yawgmith draw (for a total of 4). A creature dying from having zero toughness is a state based action and would not be checked until after the entire Yawgmith trigger resolves, including the draw.

Pretty sure you'd lose 6 to Sheoldred with Sylvan Library. Library makes you draw 3 cards then put two back, causing three Sheoldred loss of life triggers.

Discard decks are great...but there's so few effects that make people discard cards at instant speed. So you can tear apart hands on your turn, and then you cross your fingers and pray.

Correct me if I'm wrong, this is also easy to say knowing the outcome but hear me out. When Tyler drew his card for turn, before moving to his main phase 10:40 could Dylan have sacced a creature to make Tyler discard the 2 cards he had in hand before his main phase ? I'm just not sure if you're transitioning from draw phase to main phase if you can respond or if there is this "transition". Let me know what y'all think great episode like always !

On dylans last turn, why didn’t he sad hippy tyler one more time after tyler cracked the land to draw? Couldve ripped an extra card from Tyler while starting net neutral, so there was zero opportunity cost to do it, either on Dylan’s turn or in Tyler’s upkeep so that he’s locked into instant speed only

At around 11:00 Tyler casts sacrifice on a hoarding broodling token to add 8 black when he should add 0 because its a token created by saw in half and has a cmc of 0 right?

But mana cost is a characteristic, and copies copy all characteristics, so it _is_ copied when you create a copy of something that has a mana cost, meaning that token copies have the same mana cost (and thus the same mana value, and the same pips for devotion) as the original.

i just don't understand why Grist is running the Hoarding Broodlord combo and an opposition agent at all. If not insect tribal it's a graveyard deck. Really just feels like "how to not play your commander dot deck." Sheoldred, the Apocalypse really shut down The Gitrog Monster and Yargle and Multani though i expected both to have interesting answers like Yargle and Multani should be running "dictate of erobos" type things at the very least. Probably got double shut down by the Chalice of the Void with one counter on it. i'm not sure how i feel about this game.

Well we’re playing cEDH so insect theme or graveyard theme isn’t really what we do. Instead we just try to win efficiently. Which broodlord and oppo help us do! Yargle does run some cheap removal (5 mana on dictate is a lot!) he just didn’t draw them
