Very enjoyable. I like your positive splits or progressive approach. Hope the weather improves for more to come.

Thanks Paul - it seems to be a nice balance between taking it easy and letting my competitive side come out - hope you're well!

It's different when you it a steep hill. Feels like a giant is squeezing your lungs. Best wishes.

Yeah, that was a killer of a hill! It's all about getting the approach right and stick to an even effort all the way up.

Beautiful course and excellent coverage, eye watering prices though for a scone and cup of tea, 😳

Another fabulous video and course! We are running this on Saturday to complete Cornwall parkruns. Looks lovely, hoping it's not too wet on that uphill field as I'll be in road shoes :)

Thanks Mike ☺️ You’ve saved a good course for your final Cornwall course - you should be alright in road shoes, with a few days of sunshine, fingers crossed it dries out a bit 🤞

Great video. It certainly gives a great snapshot of what it is like. I did Eden Project on my last trip to Cornwall in 2022. I am just trying to decide whether to do Trelissick or Lands End in May 2024. I am not afraid of hills having helped set up Mole Valley in 2018 & run at Lullingstone & Bevendean Down which are amongst the 10 toughest in the U.K.

Thanks Matt! I’m yet to run Lands End - we’re saving that for our last Cornwall parkrun ☺️ Trelissick is fantastic, especially in May (I think that’s when we filmed this video). Interesting course, great gardens to walk around and if you’re into old houses, something to spend the morning wandering around.

That looks a stunning course. We'd love to do a few of those Cornish parkruns but it's such a long way from us. We commented that we might see the female runner who came storming oast you at the start later in the Vlog. We were proved correct... 😀

There’s definitely a good bunch to choose from - only 8 courses but all 5 have been quality so far. Perhaps a camping trip in the near future? I was just running to feel, but surprised with how many came whizzing past after the first half mile or so. Picked off a few on that hill 😅

@@TheVeganRunner I’ve managed two weeks training which is brilliant, doing another parkrun tomorrow, I’m definitely not over the injuries but they are manageable, 5 months out equals zero fitness but I’m loving it again, we will come and camp next year and do Woolacombe, Joan will have retired so it will be easier, I can’t wait to see you both 😀👍

@@coops111s So pleased for you Steve! That fitness will return faster than you know it, especially if you keep taking it easy and not forcing it too much. Looking forward to that Woolacombe meet-up! Hopefully can get one in before then too 👍
