Tremec TKO Neutral Safety Switch Wiring

The Tremec TKO started life as a manual transmission in the Ford Mustang. One area that can be confusing no matter what the application, is the neutral safety switch wiring. There are a few different approaches to wire the switch with one of our Classic Update or universal kits, but this video will show our preferred method, with our 500479 relay as an example.

Two wires come off my “switch”. I see two relay wires are attached one side of switch. Where is the second switch wire connected. Is it to ground.

My question is will the basic tremec 5 speed handle the constant voltage so that you can take the two vss wires and connect to the pig tail coming out of the trans which is NSS?

Current flows backwards on Black conductor & Ground? Why is this?

Although the negative charged electrons move through the wire toward the positive (+) terminal of the source of electricity, most diagrams show it moves from positive to negative. But not the case in DC circuitry. Negative electrons move to positive.

It all depends on whose theory you follow. Forget that and just understand electrons are attracted to opposite electrons and move towards each other.
