Tren Maya Episode 5 - Mahahual (Costa Maya)

Mahahual is also known as Costa Maya, and has its own cruise ship port. We spend 8 days exploring, and finding out which beach clubs and restaurants are "vale la pena", or worth it.

I can’t tell which part was my favorite, swimming with the sea turtles or the adorable dog that is living the dream on a lounger at a beautiful beach 😄 Another great video, such a beautiful beach town! Addie said you guys are doing an awesome job with the music!

It is definitely in the top as far as places we have stayed. That dog was too cute, he was owned by the owners of the restaurant and he never wanted food or pets, he just loved the view. The most chill Chihuahua ever. I appreciate Addie's compliment we work hard to match the music to the video.

How cool! They are so friendly there. If you are still there tell the bartender we loved his recommendation of Koras in Puerto Morelos it was our favorite restaurant.

It looks like the whole peninsula area is getting EXPENSIVE (as are some other areas in Mexico)...🤔

We have been in Mexico for close to two years and I would say that restaurant and bar prices are on average 25% higher than when we started & Airbnb's are about 50% more expensive. There are definitely still some affordable areas but they are not around here.
