Thanks for your videos. How do you feel about tacticon armament scopes and sights? Any experience with them. They don’t break the bank and they seem like good quality but would you trust it with your life?
@luketimmer6108 Жыл бұрын
@fire93950 don't get any optics from them. I bought one of the scopes and the red dot. The red dot was fine for a cheap red dot but I'd recommend going with a Romeo 5 at the very bottom end. I can't speak for the durability of the scope but the viewing window of the scope at max power was small as hell. Cheapest I'd go for an optic is primary arms. They are reasonable with price and solid tools. Also don't get a 2nd focal plane. All it's good for is 1 power and max power. If you can't spend enough the get a first focal plane just get a fixed magnification optic. Primary arms has some sweet stuff with trajectory marks on it. Tacticons cases are sweet though. They have this 2 gun case and I love that thing. Mag pouches are decent but mil surplus is technically better for similar price.

I think he kind of glossed over it during the malfunction section but the reason you don't put the 1st magazine back in your FLC is because often times it's the magazine causing the malfunction. The magazine feed lips wear out and open up over time, causing problems with how rounds are loaded. If you have a double feed it is almost 100% the magazine, get rid of it.

Thanks for saying that about us civilians .. personally I feel like I failed my country by not serving . But I still got that dog in me 🐕
@bewbew0016 Жыл бұрын
You're (I'm assuming) preparing to serve your country and doing so on your own dime and time. If you still feel compelled to serve, consider serving your community with EMS, Fire fighting, Rescue tech, or all of the above. I can promise you, you'll receive good training that is relevant to minecraft (like medical, breaching, team work, chain of command, leadership, learning you can be brave and calm in stressful, sometimes chaotic situations, and seeing brutal, violent injuries). You'll meet some good people and have to count on each other in life and death situations. You'll feel good about what you're doing. I'm not telling you what to do, but I'm throwing it out there as an option and telling you what to expect based on my experience doing it. I don't know what you do now, but it's probably useful in some way, similar to a support role. So, don't look down on yourself or ever think you're lesser than in some way. You're here, learning, preparing, and training to do whatever is necessary, knowing full well that it will be brutal. You're already ahead of most people. Keep working to make yourself awesome at this stuff, brother. Ignore any haters who try to make you feel bad about training. They're either losers or feds.
@cesarxavier7121 Жыл бұрын
@bewbew0016 bro thank you I'm definitely gonna consider some of those options! It always been a dream of mine to serve my country I'm 28 now idk if that's too old or not
@bewbew0016 Жыл бұрын
@cesarxavier7121 No problem. I mean, if serving in the military is your dream, go for it. You definitely still can. I believe it's the Air Force whose cut-off is 28, but there are waivers for that stuff. If you just want to serve and feel like you're doing something that matters with a higher degree of intensity, then consider my suggestions. It's your life. If you're driven to do something, you should definitely go for it. Best of luck with whatever you decide to do, man.

I needed to point out, I think you made an error on the MOA section at 34:55 : 1in at 100m is close to 1MOA (1in at 100 yards is closer), but 2in at 200m and 3in at 300m would both also be about 1MOA. A minute of angle comes from dividing a circle into the 360 parts called degrees, then dividing these by 60 to get minutes. These can then be divided again by 60 to get seconds of arc. A minute of angle creates a cone that expands in proportion to the distance, being 1 inch at 100 yds and 10 inches at 1000 yds. It comes from the formula (2*pi)/(360*60)*(36*100), the distance of a minute of angle on a unit circle times the distance to 100 yds in inches.

Yes!!! I decided I'd check the comments before telling him he's wrong about MOA - to see if anyone explained it more eloquently than I would. There's a bunch of great info in here, but when making an instructional video calling out people for being freaking stupid - then it makes sense to have your own facts straight. (No matter if 1" @ 100yds, 2" @ 200yds, 3" @ 300yds, etc... those are all still just 1 MOA.)

I do my best not to be critical, but very few seem to get the zero part correct... The whole 50yd = 200yd zero ONLY works for 55gr from a 16" and even then you need to verify. 50yd = 200yd does NOT work with just any other combinations. Your best bet is to do a 50yd zero and then perfect/verify at 200yd and then verify back at 50yd if you made adjustments. A 200yd zero has a better probability of being dead on at 50yds then vice versa. You can use a ballistic calculator for a good start to zeroing but you need to actually do it in the real world. My ideal zero is the Point Blank Range Zero this gives you the smallest vertical change for your desired distance, mine is from 0-300yds. For my 10.3" with 77gr, that is a 30yd zero. That gives me +5.6" at the highest point and -5.4" at the lowest point (11" of total difference) with 300yds, so I can just "Kentucky windage" a little bit to be close at any point within that range. Whichever one you do, please go to the range and verify your hits. I was able to find velocities for my loads and run them through a ballistic calculator to get me started, but you don't need to. You can just write down and track the elevation change every 50yds or so to see how your load in your gun is behaving. You can use that to experiment with a ballistic calculator to match up your real world experience with a velocity and then refine/verify, refine/verify, etc from there.

I strongly recommend the 100 yard zero. Less holds to memorize at all effective ranges out to 300. You have to remember your height over bore like for every other setup when in close. But 200 is only a 2" drop and 300 one can simply aim for neck height and drop rounds into center mass ~8"). 25 yard zeroes require you to remember various hold unders that get very pronounced at the 100 -250 yard range which are very typical engagement distances (terrain dependent of course), and these are very favorable ambush distances for the average minutman who's trained their marksmanship. The new pvp update coming to minecraft will be wild, simplify things for yourselves

My AR-15 the blew up in my arms sending Shrap metal out of the magazine feeding port into my left form!! Wonding me ....
