Depending on your definition of "cold", you could say it does get cold in Phoenix. Usually 30-40 F at night, 50-60F during the winter. So it's not NOT cold lol

I really wanted a suede jacket cause to me suede will always come back in style every fall, but they run up to like 300-400 bucks and I can’t justify spending that much, so I looked on Poshmark and I found a chocolate brown genuine suede jacket (and oversized) for 35 dollars 😭 definitely worth thrifting if you can keep an eye out

You can get washable suede. I'm with you, though ... I also fall into the trap of having a terrible body image and I own enough clothes for 4 people (or more). Always on the search for something that makes me feel cute and confident and always failing.

I actually put a suede jacket on my thrift wishlist, then deleted it because suede items are so beautiful but so difficult to care for. I don't need this anxiety in my life. Also, totally agree with you about the mesh ballet flats. I've been hating on them for the past couple of seasons. If I wanted people to see my toes, I'd wear sandals! I don't understand the point of it. I've also have a weird thing with olive green lately. Used to wear anything olive green in the past. Coats, jeans, you name it. This fall i purchased a jacket from Mango because it was warm and was kind of bummed out that they only had it in olive green.

How about you try a balayage? It will let your natural color come through but you'll also still feel "proper" blonde. Also, the upkeep is so easy, you basically have to go back to the salon just once a year

I have Frye riding boots that I bought in 2014. They were “wide calf” aka 15 inches. I took them to a cobbler to get extended and I wore them a lot. I still have them but the cost of nearly 600 dollars for the boot and alterations was ridiculous. The zipper broke a few years ago and I’ve gained weight so I can’t wear them. So was it worth it? I’m not sure? I could have spent a fraction on similar boots that fit without alterations and had the same joy.

Im seeing people talking about olive and burgundy and i have a sense I'm gonna have to stop myself from buying things in those colors. I love the colors, think theu look great on my skin tone, but i literally only wear black, (primary) red, and (bright) purple so buying items in thise colors just doesn't really make sense

My wardrobe changes very little anymore. I pick up a few things in a different color or style but it's to replace something and rarely an addition to what I already have. Olive green has been my neutral color since I was a little kid (redhead) and I look like I have the flu wearing most blue/black/grey/burgundy shades. Strangers will ask me if I'm feeling ok. Oops. I'm wearing the wrong color. 🤦
