Good to see that you’re making progress on the siding, but snow is on the way (you probably already know that) so I hope you finish putting up the siding soon. Merriest of Christmas to everyone in your family!

@colleenbalch3282 күн бұрын
Guys, when it's summer and nice you need to just go back and run a horizontal ridgepole from the old roof peak to where it hits the side of the new house. Then run planks, deck them, roof them, and create full height protection and deal with the whole problem once and for all. It's the most inaccessible part of your entire roof and will always be super sketchy to try and deal with in the winter. Otherwise, you'll be fighting water and damage in BOTH parts of the house as ice dams form and wreak all kinds of havoc.

Allie, try feeding Billy some cereal 3-4 times a day. That should help with his sleeping…as long as it’s not related to your caffeine intake. If he’s sensitive to caffeine and you’re drinking any at all, that will also keep him from sleeping.
@MissM622 күн бұрын
I agree! Many babies need more calories to sleep, especially boys. You can get a special cereal bottle and use breast milk to make the cereal. You will be amazed how quickly he will sleep after. Use rice cereal, digests easily. 🙏🏻 for sleep and rest for all! Merry Christmas 🎄
@debbiecollins11542 күн бұрын
I totally agree about the cereal. My son just didn’t sleep at all. As soon as my mom started him on pablum as she called it about 5 or 6 months he started sleeping normal and even took like 2 hour naps. I couldn’t believe it. Hope this helps. I’m sure the night feeding will help.❤

Yes. Had my 1st in 88' and was blessed to have her begin sleeping through the night the day she turned 3 months old, but after just a few weeks of sleeping bliss, we went through a sleep regression (wasn't even aware it was a thing back then). 3 or 4 weeks in I was on the phone complaining to my mom (we were CG stationed 3000 miles from home and long distance calls were expensive so didn't happen too often), she told me to cut a small criss cross in a bottle nipple (had unfortunately been unable to nurse) and try a tablespoon of rice cereal in her bedtime bottle... It worked like a charm from the very 1st night.

Keep in mind, I fell 12 inches to land on my feet and I had explosive compound fracturing of my left tibia plateau. Took 7 surgeries over a 3 year period so I could walk again. No more running, no more jumping, and because it took so long I'm lucky to be able to bend to 110 degrees. I was about your age, not overweight, and quite active. My femur basically did a piledriver into my tibia and that's all she wrote. Take it from me, the *LAST* thing you want is do damage your knees. Don't believe me, go to any fast food place using crutches and carry your own tray to the table. Once you realize just how dependent you are being able to use your hands while walking, you then realize how extremely limited you are when you can't walk without crutches, a walker, or even a cane.

12 inches? and all that damage? was something else going on?
@mr2miach2 күн бұрын
@@LoreneSeman-r9y We went back and measured, it was 12 inches. I don't recall exactly how it happened but the general consensus is I landed straight legged at least on my left leg. All anyone saw was my yelling out in pain holding my knee after the fact.
