Considering you get a day pass meaning you can leave the gardens and go round the shops and then get back into the gardens for free as long as you show the ticket then yes I'd say £12.50 is fairly reasonable.

This year (2023) is now up to £13.00 for an adult ticket to enter Trentham Gardens. The short answer is no, it is not worth that amount, maybe £5.00/£8.00 per ticket. Having said that, it was still a pleasant experience to walk around the former country estate of the Sunderland family.

It doesn't look any different from when it was free to take a stole around the lake. Apart from the Italian Gardens, replanted and maintained.

Not at all. Hyde Park, Richmond Park and St James Park have way more captivating landscapes and none of those have tickets.
