Totally off topic, but I thought I'd put it here: 1. You don't seem to do a lot of boat shoes. Are there no Goodyear-welted boat shoes? 2. What are some good brands of walking shoes that are easy to get on and off, can take a beating, are long-lasting (ie. leather), relatively cool-ish in hot weather, and are repairable? Thanks! Keep up the good work with the videos!

Hey guys. Hope you’re doing well. It’s been a while! Fun video! I was in Nashville a few years ago. A friend who lives there told me that everyone HAS to have a pair of cowboy boots, knowing that I’m not a cowboy boots kind of guy. 😊 But, I ended up buying a pair of black boots at the Lucchese store. I almost had to take out a second mortgage on the house to get these bad boys, but I admit - they are quite nice. The quality seems very good. I don’t wear them much in Minneapolis, but occasionally it is fun to surprise people and show up in them! Lol. Take care.

Hey guys, I got a pair of Iron Ranger's for Father's Day. I was thinking about getting them branded "Father's Day 2023" somewhere, likely on the inside or outside of the ankle near the top. Anything I should be concerned about regarding a branding?
@TrentonHeath Жыл бұрын
Just make sure the brand isn’t so hot and/or pushed onto the leather too long or else the brand wont turn out well and may look charred. We have a heat brander than we use all the time, and we’ve made that mistake many times. Make sure to practice on a scrap piece of leather first.

I can't wear real cowboots any longer. I have lots foot issues, long story. I can wear a Roper type because the heel is not high at all. I have a black pair. I wear them if I have to wear a coat and tie. They get little use. Mostly I wear Thorogoods moc toes for work / daily tasks. Sort, soles are soft, my feet like that. If you have good feet, you like cowboy boots, rock on. I would if I could. However, over time your parts wear out, and for me it was my feet.

I don't think there's a decent cowboy boot store in Nashville. The best one I could think of is Lucchese Boots, which are still lacking in quality. These boots you're showing in the video are cheaply made. Rubber welted. And the leather is not the best quality. They are show off boots rather than something mean to be worn a lot. Go to a different state for cowboy culture.
