It is great to see aviation being prompted as a sport and a way to have fun instead of a means of travel. The key to growing aviation is to show folks its a lifestyle, to teach people who fly to be aviators instead of airplane drivers, to show all the door aviation opens up enriching someone's life. You guys do an awesome job at this.

Thank you for those words! I am FPV drone pilot but I’d love to do my EASA LAPL(A) (European version for a PPL but for single-engine piston aero planes < 2 tons) the next 2 years. Every single day I dive more and more into the rabbit hole and I learn a lot. A question which is in my mind is how flying aero planes privately is seen by society. There is much fandom for sports cars, yachts and expensive vacation. But there is no big fandom for the aviation „lifestyle“. Is it a false allegation? If not what’s the reasons for that? Is the aviation lifestyle not interesting enough? Or is there too much distance between the aviation lifestyle and society?
