Trespassers caught on camera, let's do something about it!

I had a large No Trespassing sign on a fence post with a coffee can nailed to the top of the post full of bullet holes. I also had a smaller sign under the can simply saying " If you can read this you are in range". Usually folks turned around.

I have them all over the front of the property, but apparently, they can't read. No second chances here.

I put a 'perk hole' on a trail leading into my parents property. They didnt see it and dropped a front tire in it at speed which bent they're steering and front a arm. When they came back all 4 tires had been Epsteined.

@@DurtyMaxDee yes sir. Hope your situation works out. We ended up putting up to game cameras. One was placed in direct line of sight and the other one was pointed at that one and caught them tampering with it. Done and done.

Get a post hole driller and put some bigger posts in the ground. I think a side by side could knock that over if they wanted to. T posts will work much better too.

I plan on putting up a proper gate there in the future, but this is what I had at the moment. This was just temporary and a test to see how far they are willing to risk....

Thought of that but I do have a bunch of wild animals that run through that area. I'd hate for one of them to get injured because of some dumb kids. Besides I might forget they were there.

hi great video yea im from ca here they no longer care about the camera's (unless they get caught but then pull the ol...thats not me you got the wrong people) but once cops show their face from a camera they start crying, im not sure if this video would have gotten blocked but nice way of blocking that off i would have used barb wire

The Sheriff said that using barbwire was not a good idea unless it was used as a fence and not a "gate". I use this path from time to time so a proper fence and gate will be going up in the future.

The sheriff has been contacted, and they have the trespassers' images on file . The sheriff gave me his cell number so I could call him directly if these trespassers trigger my cameras again. It's all on record. 👍

I know of a story like you are talking about. Some guy in middle MI did kind of the same thing. He put a wire across the back of his property to keep the snowmobilers off of his lot and some kid got decapitated, didn't end well for the property owner. I hope you're not saying I'm going to prison.

I would bury some serious spikes . 4 flats , they'll have to be towed out .

I thought of this, but I do use this path from time to time. All I need to do is forget one time that spikes were laid down. Once we are down there on a more permanent basis this will be easily fixed.
