Ren said about the human voice: 'The voice mirrors instruments, in rock it's the lead guitar, in rap, it's percussion.' That's a big reason why this fusion works so well.

He’s also covered Busta Rhymes, Outcast, Post Malone, Pharrell and Snoop. His feet kept up with Em 🤯

this is how a jazz drummer is taught to play during solos to complement the soloist, had no idea he was jazz trained until this song.

Em’s cadence and flow is often compared to the percussion instruments. He sounds like one in human form. This drummer bodied this!

You didn’t mention he has a snare drum by his left foot turned on it’s side and to his right another one turned upside down. He used to scratch while he was playing.

KZbin is bad for censorship but great as a platform for someone like EES. We all have potential to do what EES does but most lack his dedication and hard work. Aside from his great drumming, EES's example of the long hours and sweat and focus are on display as well. Another thing I've noticed is how non-drummers and non musicians are so enthralled by his playing. EES, you are an amazing human being!

No, not all of us have the potential to do what EES does. In the same way that not all of us have the potential to break the 100m record, or to sing like Pavaroti. There is a part of innate talent that is not achieved with dedication and effort. Knowing the limits is important to avoid frustrations.

Very true. Some have proclivities that others don't. What's also true is many don't have the discipline in life to highten their success. It's a two sided coin. I do stand corrected and should say many, not all. Thanks for your insight.@@carloselver7114
