You guys are about to go down a deep rabbit hole with Ren's music. His fans are growing by the day and their appetite for his content has become voracious simply because of his honesty, hard work, and talent. He's currently in Canada seeking treatment for the damage done to his body over the years of his misdiagnosis, which turned out to be Lyme Disease. Welcome to the crew, guys, a diverse group of fans that support Ren's journey and his message that we all share, that we need to lift each other up. Division is becoming too strong, we need to show what we humans are capable of, compassion, empathy, love, and courage. Sending out best wishes to you and your viewers.

Not only just Lyme disease but all the long years worth of pain with misdiagnosis and not knowing and wanting to give up…. It’s so much deeper. I love the fan base and we all have mad respect! ❤

@@ScottyRosencrance-dq4pj lol, like many Renegades, I’ve watched countless reactions to his videos, lol! This last year of following his career and life has been pretty mind blowing, I continue to be impressed by Ren’s musicianship, his humanity, the way he brought his fans to together and how we all support one another. It’s also impressive how he and his team stay independent and I’m so proud to see young artists’ hard work pay off with recognition and awards. My generation didn’t have the resources they do today, to be independent artists and make a living you had to take it to the road back in my day. Even before I discovered Ren, I knew this generation was different, and I have great hopes for the future…the empathy and intellect they have shown combined with their fierce loyalty makes me look forward to things to come.

Here is some additional information on Ren's story that I gathered from old newspaper interviews, articles, and Ren's livestreams and posts where he discussed his condition. Ren Erin Gill is a British musician/independent artist; born in Wales on March 29, 1990; he eventually moved to Brighton. Ren pursued a career in music from an early age. In 2009, while studying music performance at Bath Spa University, Ren began to experience health issues and was struggling to attend his lectures. In 2010, he was signed by Sony Records and was working on an album when his health deteriorated to the point where he was unable to continue and subsequently dropped by Sony. Ren's illness often kept him in bed for up to 23 hours daily. Ren was initially misdiagnosed with depression, bipolar disorder, and chronic fatigue syndrome, which led him to experience psychosis and develop PTSD. It would take seven years before a doctor in Belgium finally correctly diagnosed Ren with autoimmunity, Lyme disease, and resulting damage to the brain, organs, joints, and PTSD. Ren eventually underwent stem cell therapy in the United States, which improved his health, but it has not been a cure. Ren is currently in Calgary, Canada for more treatments, including surgeries, and will have to be there for at least six months (Summer of 2023) undergoing IV and other interventions five days a week. Ren recently underwent wisdom tooth removal and cavitation surgery. In addition, his Canadian doctor discovered that Ren also developed a condition called Mast Cell Activation Disorder (MCAD), which has affected the myelin sheath in his brain, his thyroid, adrenals as well as his bones/joints. Now, Ren is receiving additional treatments for this previously undiagnosed condition. Let's keep supporting Ren as he undergoes his treatments. Check out and subscribe to his channel, if you are a content creator, ask your audience to subscribe to Ren. Listen to some of his earlier work, like and comment on his performances, and let's lift Ren's spirits. If you are a believer, pray for him. Ren is an artist with something to say to the world, and his work is important in these troubling times. Someone has finally created a Wikipedia page for Ren, so there is additional information available. Here is the link to Ren’s GoFundMe page to raise money for his current treatment. Ren has exceeded his initial goal. However, his goal was very conservative and did not reflect the added costs of unforeseen surgical procedures, and treatment for additional health issues such as MCAD. www.gofundme.com/f/ren-get-better-from-lyme-disease-and-autoimmunity

He is telling his story. Suffered from voices as a child and then it all started again when he got Lyme disease as a teenager. Disabled with pain,depression ,psychosis and fatigue,spending years bedridden. 2 stem cell transplants brought him back in 2016 but he is still suffering from the ravages of the disease. Currently in Canada getting treatment. Ren has a statement out there explaining how he hoped to lay the demons to rest with this song. You did a great job guys. I subbed

An extra nice detail about him switching sides for each voice is how the guitar is placed As the evil side he's facing with the guitar neck out Infront of him. Reminiscent of like the barrel of a gun. He's on the attack When it's his weaker side he's facing with the body of the guitar Infront of him. Reminiscent of a shield. He's defending himself
@darkzer0670 Жыл бұрын
I actually never thought about that but makes sense. I noticed the body language where he leans forward on the attack side and leans backwards on the defensive side but missed the guitar.

If you want to hear him sing, Chalk outlines x Chinchilla, or Bongo bong, Englishman in New York... there are loads more, and all bangers

You really got the message! Thanks for the great reaction. Lots more Ren (and friends). You might like "Power", which also gives some background to his life. "Losing It" is pretty light and bouncy, and vocally impressive.

Thank you... Ren was spotted busking on the streets and signed by Sony...unfortunately he became ill and was diagnosed with chronic fatigue and told it was all in his head...for 7 or do years he grew sicker and was given a selection of different drugs that didn't help and he recorded a plea for help (which is on his community page) which was seen by a doctor in America. The doctor offered him experimental stem cell surgery for free if he could get to America.... He was a little better after 2 surgeries and eventually went to see another specialist in Brussels where he was finally correctly diagnosed with Lymes Disease (from a tick bite) unfortunately the years of incorrect treatments resulted in the Lymes causing brain and autoimmune damage... Ren is currently in Canada recieving further treatment for that damage... Ren wrote and recorded music throughout his years of illness.... Creating beats,music and playing guitars, drums, piano, cello and singing kept him from giving up... Thank uou for taking the time to react to Hi Ren....much love and blessings 🇬🇧❤️🇬🇧

Great reaction! When I saw the Hendrix shirt I smiled. interesting you mentioned The Fifth Element. Another great example of non lyrical singing is Pink Floyd's Great Gig in the sky at the Pulse concert. The recorded version is better but the live version is more visual with amazing lighting. Ren always reminds of Floyd with his great depths into life. He is the real deal.

Here's the thing: when you get sick and it doesn't follow the usual way of illness, you end up like him. Years of your life are lost. Even afterwards, the diagnosis is sometimes just the first step. Then you have years of fixing what was ignored and missed before. You have the PTSD therapy because everything before is traumatic...being told you are lying about pain, depression, disease, IBD issues, etc which co-align with alot of Lyme symptoms is horrific. Your body is already malfunctioning and the medical field tells you that it's all in your mind. It's not.
