I have nothing against TB. Always rooted for him and he’s shown flashes. But he needs to gain some size, strength, and grit. He gets bullied down low and opposing teams went after him in my opinion. Having said that hopefully he has a good bill of health and has put in the work to be stronger.

If someone gets injured during the season, then I think Brazil will get more playing time. but I would be surprised if he is in the starting lineup. I think there is better players coming to the men’s college basketball. Razorback team. Brazil is OK, but Arkansas has much better players in my opinion. Brazil missed way too many shots last season and that is my biggest turn off with Brazil coming back, but who knows maybe this season he will improve.

I think the negative towards Brazile coming back is because of his bad attitude on the court, the kicking players and technical fouls between him and DEVO. On top of all the “locker room rumors”….. I think under new management and new players surrounding him, the sky is the limit for his future. Being that if he stays healthy and all 🐗

It depends which Trevon Brazille we get. Do we get pre injury TB? All talent no drama? Great! That’s not what we got last season. He was passive on defense and the boards more games than not. Also whether the locker room drama was real or not there were a LOT of unnecessary drama on the court with flagrant fouls and running mouth at the refs and the other bench. That kid I don’t want back. Maybe all that was frustration from on an off the court that is now in the past. I hope so. He was so awesome and fun to watch before the ACL.

How is it “dumb rumors by dumb people,” John? I usually agree with your takes, but here, this was widely reported, including by Crain, who has appeared on your show. While the specific details may be up for debate and nobody was in the locker room, I think it is pretty safe to say there was drama and animosity amongst the roster last year and it seems evident that TB played a part in that. People not wanting him back for that reason and wanting to start with an entirely clean slate is reasonable. You yourself said that this team clearly did not like each other and did not play well together and clearly underperformed.

Well we don’t know for sure he’s not hurt anymore. We thought he was healthy starting last season. That’s my only worry. As far as him sitting in the corner not doing anything. That was as much a misuse by coaches as him being lethargic. Maybe Kenny Payne will get him to the top of his game. I’m really hoping for the best for TB.
