Great episode, Jonesy! You weren't wrong about the initials for Trevor's "company". The name changes constantly. Sometimes he calls it Trevor Philips Enterprises, sometimes it's Trevor Philips Industries, or Philips Enterprise, Trevor Philips Corporation, TPI Conglomerate, TP Conglomerate, or TP Inc. Just some backstory on wade; Wade is a Juggalo (a person that’s part of the fan base of Insane Clown Posse and other rappers of that genre) and so the face paint he sometimes has on is a part of that fandom. I hate to seem like a back-seat gamer, but now that you've received the money from the jewelry store heist and are able to buy properties, I'd like to recommend buying the Downtown Cab Company as Franklin. These will give him random taxi cab missions, and purchasing it as early as possible gives you the best chance of getting a potentially life-changing (for the better) mission for him. You can find the property on the map in the north east part of the city, just below the casino/horse track. It's easy to spot the race track on the map as it's a large oval.

In timeline order Lazlow's career began in the early 1980s as an intern for the V-Rock radio station based in Reddick, Florida. Some time between 1984 and 1986, V-Rock moved to Vice City. GTA V is the only game that dives into his character unless you listen to the radio in the other games you'd really have no idea about his appearances.

30:45 I don’t like sodas (unless mixed with booze or ice cream). If I have a few sips of coke to ease an unsettled stomach, sometimes I feel like it’s a rum & coke 😂 The strong effervescence of sodas kinda hurts my throat and ears. I either stir my beers, throw soju in them, or pour room-temp beer over ice. A tiny bit of stirring after adding ice really kills the fizz. @22:06 My best guess for why "they" disappear is that if an enemy is behind or around some cover and your character can't see them - no line of sight - then they disappear from your minimap unless/until they make some noise or pop back around the corner into your vision for you to spot them again.

@55:01 You've made comments a few times now I think to mentioning "you're not dead?" If you pay attention you'll notice that the gun's cross-hair makes an 'X' symbol when you've killed them. If you shoot them and they fall down but you don't see the 'X' yet then they're not dead yet.

Abuse the auto aim in this game helps a lot like holding l2 killing someone and then letting go and then holding it again also I’m sure your on performance mode but if your not or want to check setting display and if your on fidelity you will feel the difference from switching to performance

Whenever possible, you should start a mission that's at a character's house and has a character's initial on the mission, as that character. I don't know why the game does this, but if you start the mission as another character, you'll miss a large part of the intro cut scene. Because you started the "Michael Mission" as Trevor, you missed Michael finding Jimmy's weed in the fridge, him arguing with Amanda about it, and the introduction of Fabien, Amanda's yoga instructor. This is NOT your fault, as there is no possible way for you to know this, unless you've played the game multiple times. So, M missions should be started as Michael, T missions as Trevor, and F missions as Franklin. There are two exceptions where you're not able to do this. If you're not able to take control of that character, just start the mission as the only person you're able to control, and there is one mission where the game will tell you to return as another character, but these are the only two exceptions, and they'll be obvious. You're about to come up on Lester's assassination missions with Franklin. You've probably already done the first one. Generally, Lester likes to manipulate the stock market by killing someone that damages a company's stock, and drives up the price of theit competitor. If you know ahead of time which companies he is gonna manipulate, you can invest all your money in the rival company with all three characters, and make a ton of money. The ideal/complicated way involves investing in the rival company with all three characters, doing the mission, sleeping at your house for a few days until the stock rises to the maximum level, selling it with all three characters, investing all your money in the company that was damaged with all three character, and then sleeping again for a few day until that stock recovers. This can take 15 to 20 minutes of real time, and you might not want to invest that kind of time into the five assassination missions that appear throughout the game. If you don't want to get that involved, you can just invest in the rival company with all three characters before the mission, and wait a few real-time minutes after the mission for the stock to rise a bit, and sell then. You won't make nearly as much money, but you'll make some. Your other options are just to invest with Franklin only when Lester tells him what to invest in. Or just ignore the investing altogether. Every person I've seen play GTA 5 on KZbin has ignored the investing pretty much entirely, and they still enjoy the game with the money that the story missions give them. These are the stocks to invest in: First mission: Before: Betta Pharmaceuticals (BAWSAQ) / After: Bilkinton Research (LCN) Second mission: Before: Debonaire (LCN) / After: Redwood Cigarettes (LCN) Third mission: Before: Fruit Computers (BAWSAQ) / After: Facade (BAWSAQ) Fourth mission: Before: none / After: Vapid (BAWSAQ) Fifth mission: Before: Gold Coast (LCN) / After: none You can access the stock market from your phone. Go into the internet, select Money And Services, click on either LCN or BAWSAQ, and then on Market. It should be obvious from there. There are two stock market listings, and you can switch back and forth at the top of the screen. If you want to go the simple route, just can just invest in the Before stock before you start the mission, and sell a few minutes afterwards. The fourth mission is the exception where you can only invest afterwards, and sell a few in-game days later when the stock has recovered. Make sure to invest with all three character BEFORE you even drive to the L on the map. Once you drive even anywhere close to the L, you'll be locked into the mission, and won't be able to switch to Michael or Trevor to invest. I know this is a huge info dump, so if you just want to ignore this completely, you're still gonna have a fun time with the game.

It's virtually impossible to make any money in the stock market outside of Lester's assassination missions. Some claim that if you invest in a company and then attack a rival company, like if you invest in Burger Shot and then start blowing up Clucking Bell delivery vans, you can drive up a stock, but I think this is just dubious Rockstar propaganda. You can also try looking at the graph of a stock's history, and look for one that fluctuated often, and is at a low point. It's probably about to rise again. But the return on investment tends to be small and risky. I never bother, outside of Lester's missions, of course. It's really the only way you can earn the $150 million that it takes to buy the golf course... not that there's any reason to. Properties are just white elephants in this game, other than the Downtown Cab Company.

at 26:14 yeah Rockstar's game engine is so impressive. The draw distances are spectacular and RDR2 took it to the next level after this game. I cannot WAIT to see what they do with GTA 6. Was also gonna ask again to reconsider turning music back on. Was playing a bit myself and it adds so much more. I don't mean the Radio music, I know that's all copyrighted. I mean mission scores. Those aren't copyrighted. Rockstar, saying this again, made a special effort to make sure gamers can use the footage without copyright claims. The scores have been uploaded to youtube since the game was made, and nobody ever claimed those. Why would they claim gameplay. You are right about radio, but it's such a small effort to turn it off, vs not having the beautiful Tangerine dreams scores. Fights without the scores are just not right. I don't know how to describe it. They are off somehow. The first Franklin fight, the mission where you went with Stretch and Lamar to this factory looking building and then you had to escape the cops, has one of the most memorable scores ever. I can't remember if it was "Legitimate businessman" or "We were setup", both by Tangerine dream. One of the scores triggers when you fly, the other just in the Franklin mission. Both are so damn good. It would be a shame to not enjoy that just because of the inconvenience of turning the radio off. And it's not one or two scores. Each mission has it's own. Designed specifically for that mission. It adds so much to it and again, they are not copyrighted. Its like the music from RDR which also wasn't copyrighted. For the same exact reason. Rockstar thought of that. And second, was about to give you hard time about the driving. Sorry. But you do know you are not in the UK. We drive on the right -> :)

BTW Tangerine Dream is a very old school band of electronic music from Germany that started in the 60s. They are simply not big on copyright claims. The internet is full of their music. And not just on the internet. They have a complete unique style and it would be a shame to miss it. You will recognise it in other things if you fortunate enough to find them. Personally I am very fond of this movie from the 80s called "The soldier" which was also scored by them. From start to finish, just like GTA 5, it's just Tangerine Dream magic. The minute I stepped in GTA 5 world, I had a distinct feeling that I know something about it. It was something familiar about the world. When I looked up the scores I encountered again that band. And it made sense. They did other stuff, not gonna spoil any of it. But it is something distinctive about them. You should totally turn music back on. Its not GTA without Tangerine Dream.
