Been watching this since Candyrat posted back in 2011, and I still come back a few times a year because it still holds up as one of my favorite pieces of all time. A shame this dude didn't blow up like he deserved. This kinda music needs to be better heard by people. It's too good to stay hidden.

When i watch things like this, i think about how great it is to know that so many talents are out there, muffling all the noise from radio and pop artists in their own way. Beautiful music will always have their own space in the minds, hearts and ears of those who choose to be a bit more open minded. Thanks Candyrat for bringing us yet another great artist!

Could you guys imagine the amount of practice this would take in order to play all the way through without screwing up? Unfathomable.
@johnbecker3349 жыл бұрын
Silus Botwin 2-3 hours a day every day, even when he was in high school, and the rest of us were begging him to go to the mall, movies, etc. Trevor was always immensely dedicated. :)

Seriously. Every time I went into the music room for chorus, Trevor is in one of the practice rooms tolling away. It was like he was only at school to play guitar.

Im sure if you asked him how, he would say ‘Practice, lots of it’ 🙄 Good advice though really...

I've seen Trevor perform live at least a half dozen times, this song three times, and every performance is simply jaw-dropping. He's also a great guy and has been a strong supporter of our local music venue. Glad to see such an amazing video and positive response!

Inspiring. Thank you. This is 3 years "old". There is music that is 50 and even 100's of years old equally inspiring. Skill, talent, creativity... some of the best parts of humanity and the human spirit... ageless.

@lucasvalbuena It's called a kalimba. They come in all shapes and sizes but I had to design this one because I couldn't find the one I was looking for. I made it 2 octaves chromatic and it mounts right on the surface of my guitar. Glad you like it!

I've been playing guitar since '86... This made me slack-jawed right up until the moment I couldn't help but laugh with pleasure. This is one of those moments when I don't know if I should be inspired( which I am), or feel defeated at the minimal progress I've made in all these years, lol. Great work, not only the combo of instruments, but the song has great flow. Cool groove.

OMG melodious Gem. Just listening to a lecture on Quantum-Physics, waves and how they resonate; the patters shown with a String and a motor and light; I NOW see how this melodious magnificent music makes my body quiver with joy within. This is a most fatabuous performance. I closed my eyes and allowed its healing calming of my spirit and allowed a stillness~~~ I AM RENEWED. Thanks to the Angel BEing that shared this with me at such a pivotal time to show how Music reaches within.WOW!!!
