I have the utmost respect for you Mr. Horn. Your musical works have been the soundtrack to the entire 80’s decade for me. And then, and now, your music has influenced my life and enhanced my senses in a way that I cannot fully comprehend. Much love and blessings to you sir. 💫💖🙏💕

I’ve always loved your original version, and I love this one even more. Rick Astley is fabulous.

Trevor, you are such an inspiration and pivotal person in my life. I did a Jellyfish cover for a tribute album, and your influence was ALL OVER the track I did for it. I even added a subtle ABC sample in your honor. You are respected and honored across the world.

Great rearrangement that compliments in a different kind of way that just works very well.

What a legend! The new album sounds so lush, like you're enveloped in velvet.

When the rest of the world "master" potentially good music into mush, Trevor Horn instead continues to make beautifully dynamic productions, elevating the world to a better place in the process.

If you are not going to do it Note for Note (which is redundant unless you are paying Tribute and playing the songs like you did as a Bar Band, Note 4 Note) a this is the way to go, sounds like a different song, different Grove, and feel. I did not think Rick Ashely was playing/making Club Music. It does not sound like Never gonna Give you Up either.

Most of Rick's modern output sounds little like NGGYU - that sound was very trademark Stockman et al. Rick's own writing draws on what he loves - modern pop, blues, classic soul and rock. I suggest listening to Keep Singing, Dippin' My Feet and Forever and More to see what he's doing now he's in full control of his career and making music for the joy.

“They got the melody wrong”…. Maybe there’s a space for a Horn/Lange live in show where they discuss melodic abuse ?

Boring cover of a great song.

Well, a cover is a cover, right? Totally different animal, sort of a cousin or something like that. For me the original was a little bit life-changing, and no follow-up cover need do that anymore. They wanted to do it, they did it, I hope they're happy, it has nothing to do with me.
