I sang at a memorial gig in Kingston for a fantastic drummer called Chris Dagley RIP, Rick got up and performed and he was totally brilliant, professional and still had those soulful pipes. A really nice bloke.

He didn't actually have a long musical career like other British pop stars. he became popular in the 80's, that was it.
