For all that haters out there the Texans colts and titans were never in the conversation for #1 seed last year. Lawerence was playing with a bum ankle separated shoulder and a concussion and ridley running wrong routs half the time. And to mention our oline was never starting at the same time with our garbage C play and cam being suspended beginning of the year still got 8 wins the hate is real and people need to put the pipe down frfr

Hold up so if he is getting 142 at signing does that mean his guarantee is only 58 from there on out or is the 142 on top of the 275 I would think it would be the 58 and his money after that would be 30 and change for the following 5 yrs. I still think that whole "You will have to pay more later" is overrated...because noone ever says HOW MUCH more..i bet 1 year from now the Top qb will get $60m per yr...that is only $5m more per year...CHUMP CHANGE for an NFL Team...Waiting to see how he does this year ...and if he DOES play great and you pay more...you are happy to because you are more sure of what you have...and you are really NOT paying that much more.

I want Trevor to become great...but if we are keeping it real...he has played at the Bare Minimum Level that is acceptable to be called a Franchise QB. I know that finding QBs is very difficult and we have one now...but Trevor has to raise his game...he has been mediocre to at times good.

It might be "bare minimum", but we havent had good QB play. or winning records. Or division title. Brunells the only other Jags QB that had consistent success. Bortles had one good run and padded stats. Good for us, but didnt have consistency either

Bc market dictates. Justin Herbert got paid 262M for a playoff appearance and Watson was paid 230M for 14 TDs. Daniel Jones was paid 160M for a playoff win. If production dictated, only Mahomes would be paid this money
