I set on the floor with a girl because her bed was on the floor and had a girl waiting outside to do a 3s company. You don't have to judge people if you are addicted to normal. You have to remember where Trevor is from. America thinks too high of life and think too materialistic

Ever since I stumbled upon Trevor about 9 months ago, I have been scouring the internet for his material religiously and I dare say that I have watched and listened to almost everything there is out there...what you realise is that Trevor has unequivocally evolved in every sense of his comedy, his politics, his cynicism, his understanding of racial connotations and its capitalists roots in society; he has really turned it up in his understanding and perspective of life, hence the wisdom and learned stance for someone as young. I love his standup material and now I kno much more about South Africa etc. Love it...

Oh good, Soo you have figured out that apartheid started due to the tribes crossing the river and stealing from the Dutch, then killing hundreds of Dutch men after they made a settlement... Yet, you really have to dig to find the root. I'm black and south African... But people love to point the finger. The Dutch just capitalized on the war "not my" black tribes started. After apartheid guess what? That's right... We reverse 200 years and want to rape and pillage the land.... Also when he compares trump to OUR DICTATOR, he doesn't mention that out leaders are BLACK...

I am an African American, married to a wonderful lady from Botswana which is where we reside. She introduced me to Trevor on Botswana television (broaducast from South Africa). He is right about expanding your horizons. The benefit to me of watching him is more rewarding because I understand his many references to South African culture and humor. By the way, I'm 80 and have spent a year as a student in Austria and have visited over 30 countries.Watching the interview from NY.

Also related to 40:35 ---> In nursing school I was insecure around the "book smart" students. I have a lot of knowledge, but my weakness is vocabulary. I have a hard time remembering all the medical words & often resort to using regular words. I always felt bad about that, like I was stupid. Until 1 day, while processing the pt after her MD visit, I routinely asked if she understood the doctor's instructions. She did not, as is often the case, so I did my usual re-wording what the doctor had said in layman language. She was so thankful that she could now understand...it was then I realized my "flaw" is actually a "+" for patients.

Trevor is a result of affirmative action. The daily show needed a black guy, so they randomly picked one. He's not funny and just because he's a good speaker doesn't mean he knows what he's talking about.

RacksOnRacks okay 1. He doesn't call out racism he accuses people a lot of people of being racist even though 95% of the people he says are racist really aren't. 2.you can't do anything to stop racism, racism is literally hate, and you can't stop hate. 3. When a person is racist towards you the only thing you can do is ignore them, Jesus Christ, let them be racist, when they don't let get gas because you're black, then go to another gas station, it's that simple. 4. I'm tried of people like Trevor Noah applying "black people need more of this" "black need less of this" "oh you did this to black people

Interesting because it seems that they admiring him, but in my personal opinion they did not grasp what Trevor said about "Americans do not care about Policies but Carisma in a politician" which is a punch line and a very accurate one. Which I thought it was a great moment to discuss why is that?
@pascalklein3554
@pascalklein3554 6 жыл бұрын
My explanation: Most Americans just want to be entertained, even when it comes to politics. Thus they actually do not take their democracy seriously - instead, they take it for granted. But that is dangerous. Take it from a German - we learned our lesson after the complete breakdown of civilisation in our country some 80 years ago. It can happen everywhere...
