I wouldn't make the mistake to judge someone's intelligence by their accent, but I would make a call based on the words they use. Especially when you talk to someone often. You can tell a lot about a person from the way the speak, but agreed, not by the lilt of their voice. Verbage is important.

Nor is knowledge of the English language
@HollyArtyFan4 жыл бұрын
@@nduduzogasa5289 Exactly, you can use a person's verbage to garner an idea of their intellect in any language. Good point, though its more likely easier done in the English language. Not only is English very 'wordy', it also has a large amount of slang. If someone uses excessive slang and words that aren't even legitimate words, then it speaks for itself. Of course, there are many people who are not speech incline who excel in mathematics, and there are some who just aren't great in either, but have excellent reasoning skills. Intellect has many faucets, but this is all about first impressions and few people get more than basic conversation out of a first meeting.

Trevor Noah is a natural antidepressant. His humour makes me happy and I laugh so loud I wake the kids up! He’s teaching me about the world, finding the humour in it so it’s not depressing, demonstrating gratitude to live by and showing me how to laugh at myself. Love him 💕

That's it, Sally. Exactly expressed what I get out of spending time with this man. His power is to make the tragic, the annoying, the mundane moments in life tolerable, universal, and good for a snicker, or a guffaw, or, best if all, a LOL. LOTS OF LOL's. A day without a little bit of laughter is a sad day, so brighten them up anyway you like. As for me, Trevor's humor speaks to my heart and my head.🤗

A lot of people say that not only is he funny but he is intelligent too. People don't realize that being funny takes a lot of intelligence. Comedians have to read the emotions of their audience and figure out what will get their interests , amuse them , involve them , then surprise the hell out of them when they are least prepared. A great comedian can make it up as he goes .It's a gift ... intelligence .

Trevor, you have no idea how much fun it's been for me to introduce your comedy to my family! Today, I showed this to my 78 year old mom. At first she was angry that you could make jokes about when your mom was shot. She thought that your mime of getting the phone call from your brother was you getting the actual, this-is-happening-now phone call! My mom: "How can he just stand there making jokes when his mom was just shot?! What kind of a son does that?! Why is he still standing there?! GET OFF THE STAGE AND GO TO YOUR MOTHER!" One of the best things, though, is when my sister comes over (every other day) and asks me, " Can you put on that cute boy with the accent?". You are the second thing she says when she walks through the door, right behind, " Hi, it's me!". You are a bright light amid the chaos of these times and I love pointing you out to others!
