Hey Trevor, two of my favorite comedians were already on the podcast (You and Fluffy). People I'd really love to see: Louis C.K., Charlize Theron, Keanu Reeves, Jack Black, (Tenacious D in a separate show), Russel Peters, Carlos Mencia, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Warren Buffet, Emma Stone.

Hey Trevor, was the taco truck joke actually when you were with fluffy and you just turned the friend into a Californian surfer dude for the joke? Also I've always thought you and Taylor Swift would have really interesting conversations, I know she's hella busy but I think your two minds would really hit it off and make for interesting conversations.

I’m proud of Fluffy. There’s no reason why he can’t be Fluffy and healthy. That’s madness for people to tell him he’s somehow betraying something by taking care of himself. Those aren’t fans, those are anchors. ❤
@nicolaphoenix9784Ай бұрын
Dear Fluffy, you are a treasure just as you are. Those people who are mad at you for losing weight and taking charge of your health are a selfish, short-sighted, ignorant minority ... just realise how much of a role model you are for all the millions of people who struggle with their bodies and need someone to support them in their weight loss/ health improvement journey. So, while you may lose a few short-sighted "fans", know that you are picking up that amount and way more, to the tenth degree, of new or existing fans who admire you all the more! Kudos to you for doing this, I admire you all the more. Keep on taking care of your health -we need you around for many more decades!

Hi, fellow you tuber. Thank you for your comment, which made me think that Daniel's desire to lose weight tells me that he's now happy and confident about himself. I'm not from the US and Daniel has never been introduced in my youtube stream. This podcast has been a revelation in so many ways. 😊 How nice it is that on social media we can launch in to a conversation, without too many pleasantries. A thick skin and a soft heart are useful in these circumstances, I need to read your comment again, I'm wandering from the point, me thinks 😂 Cheers and Gbu 🕊👍🏾

Honestly I never heard Trevor talking about Fluffy which is why I came to hear this curious how you two came together. Fluffy is fluffy for me not for the wait and I hope he will work on it to get healthy. He is Fluffy for me for he's gentle soul, amazing healthy comedy, such a kind way of talking and perception of honesty he is transmitting. Love him and I'm sad that Netflix is the only window to his work.

I got introduced to Trevor Noah by Gabriel Iglesias at a smaller venue in NC that Fluffy had added last second cause he was doing Raleigh and Durham that week. He was the funniest comedian that night, as fluffy was working out some new material about his son. I think everybody knew, even then, that this man had what it took to be famous. Nobody knew just how famous. Congratulations, Mr. Trevor.
@shirokku3279Ай бұрын
Yeah, like Gabriel mentions in this podcast though, Trevor was already big in South Africa. Not a small country by any means, just not with the same kind of global exposure that the US has. His was a household name long before he went over to the US. Now if y'all would please take some of our politicians alongside our comedians, we'd send the US collectively an edible arrangement or something as thanks. Please, we beg you.

That's very scary - to walk away from a career when you're on top and to change what you feel like people like you for. Gabriel is very brave to do this, and very smart to prioritize his health. If someone's truly funny, they'll be funny no matter their size. And he's right that if people don't support him being healthy then he doesn't need them.

Um... No. Factually incorrect. Fluffy did not introduce Trevor to the "world of stand up comedy". Trevor was one of, if not the most, successful stand up comedian in South Africa for a long while before he moved to the US. It's not some dust bowl covered in flies either, look it up. What Fluffy DID do, was introduce him to a wider audience in the US in the beginning. Just listen to the podcast and all of this becomes pretty clear in the first... 10 minutes?

Great interview between two thoughtful people. I doubt that this comment will make it to Fluffy, but I was both diabetic and overweight for 15 years and blamed myself for "failures", but I discovered that it was the failure of medical and nutritional advice I was given. Once I understood the food drivers (the real ones--carbohydrates and processed foods), the change was not complicated and I reversed both diabetes and the weight issues and kept it up for the last 5 years.
