My roommate introduced me to these guys back in 2009 while we were freshmen in college. I quickly became addicted to their comedy. They were just so good! Then the other day I was talking to a friend and was somehow reminded of the Grapist sketch. So, I went on KZbin and searched the video for one more laugh, only to find out that Trevor had passed last summer. I’m devastated. He was so young. He was so talented. This is just plain unfair. I'm convinced the timeline where he's still alive is far far better than ours. R.I.P
@galacticcadet2 жыл бұрын
Ok, so. I have this thought experiment I came up with. If we look at the multiple worlds theory, there has to be a timeline that is the best for you. And since there is a best timeline for you, in my mind you are on that timeline, no matter how shit it seems now. So in my theory, even though it is a bit sick, everything bad that happens pushes you forward to being better. So for all of us mourning Trevor, maybe this is a push towards seeking other entertainment or what I prefer, for each of us to try and make comedy that is in some way derived from misery, but at the same time create more good. But these are the ramblings of a drunken madman and this is the first time I've actually talked about this thing.
